Mohammed Fawzi Salama who has been in Israeli prisons since 1992 and released in the prisoner exchange treaty between Israel and Hamas said the prison conditions significantly worsened after the events of the seventh of October 2023 unfolded.
Salama recounted experiencing severe torture and inhumane treatment while in Israeli prisons, including beatings, attacks with scalding water, being kicked and dragged on the floor as well as being denied medical attention.
