I would understand if the members were known to have beef with each other and you want to defend your fav...but they literally say how much they love and care about each other ALL the time. Exactly. I found v's solo music first because of the type of music I usually gravitate towards and needed soulful sounds that I didn't understand to help me focus more while studying but once I found out he was in a group I checked out BTS songs too, this was 4 years ago. Then I started watching their shows and then I can admit v was my bias cuz I knew him first but as I became Army, I pay attention to all if them as a group support all their solo stuff and understand deeply the importance of each member and how they fit perfectly in the group. I hate solo stans as much as I hate shippers and just ignore that type of content Altogether. ❤❤

Please, not all solo stans are like this! Yes, some are but I would say that they are most likely Army who have become more biased towards one member. It’s inevitable that as each member has a solo career, they will attract new fans who will only ever be solo fans and not drawn into BTS as a whole. I heard V’s solo work way before I even realised that he was in BTS. I like some of BTS’ songs but I’m not really a fan - I’m a fan of V’s music. I have no interest in disparaging other members as I don’t see them being in competition with V anymore than any other music artist. But it is upsetting when I see and hear fans of other members trying to diss him and his solo career and his music. I don’t care about streams and fastest to do this or that. Others may be passionate about all that but I really don’t care. All the inequality stuff is a mystery. Who knows what Hybe’s attitude is to each member. Only they know. From the outside it does seem odd but we may never know if promotions are in control of the members or the management.

@@Lovewinsall64 this is the problem with being a solo stan. if you only focus on one member and come in the middle of everything and don't even try to familiarize yourself with the history of bts, you won't be able to create an image of bts as they really are. Bts themselves have said how they can call Bang pd as a friend. it's really taboo in korea, they've also expressed how they have a say in their own work. i mean isn't it predictable, if big hit wasn't equal to them they would have left there ages ago, but today big hit is their company they saved it and bang pd knows that if bts leaves his career is over. I personally don't understand the solos and their thought process. They complain about how their favorite is belittled by ARMY, but in reality the ones who do that are the other solos. ARMY=ot7. We have no reason to sabotage members because we like them equally. This leaves the thought that if there were simply no solos, then your favorite would not be belittled by other solos. being solo is a bit like cooking. ok you can only eat potatoes for the rest of your life because you stay alive that way, but why not use other ingredients like vegetables, spices and meat to make a tasty meal. isn't that just stupid. in the same way, each member is delicious on their own, but together they create a tasty dish..

I truly believe that if one member thought another needed additional support, they would help each other. They’ve made surprise visits to help each other just because one of them says they miss the members in their group chat. The company tried in the begining. They told Jin as he was the handsome one he should have a cool mysterious image. Jin went straight to camera and fans and told them what the company said and said he wasnt go to do that. The company quickly learned their chaotic energy could not be scripted. They were young and the fans loved them just like they were. Random goofy and hilariously anarchic. As they have grown up they settled down alot especially V. They are still really funny.

BTS is a matured group. They are experienced enough to know what to do and what they want. They also know each other's strengths and weaknesses so they know which promotion style they wanna do and which audience they target. We know pop is widely accepted more than other genres so it's natural for Jimin and JK to have bigger numbers but in the end it all came back to the group. BTS not only managed to keep most of their existing fans, they also gain a lot of new fans through 7 different promotion styles.

All of the members break records, it’s just jungkook has a pop sound that’s gonna have locals listen too by the mass, same with jimin, but I really hate how solo Stan’s degrade how many achievements the boys have because it’s not as big as “jungkook” like no they just have different music and different achievements..you know how rare it is to have every single solo member BREAK RECORDS? I’m someone who loves all their projects, and in theory I have no issue with the pop mainstream releases and I play them all the time, but I cannot deny that some member’s solo career benefit more from the inaccurate (or at least incomplete) image American mainstream media paints of BTS and their music. Jimin and JK shine a lot more bc of that pop boyband choreo image bc they do release songs that fit that image, so the general audiences already expect that kind of music and are more than happy to consume it. But JHope and RM for example DONT release that type of music, and the fans of the genres they do release music in like rap rock, psychodelic rock, funk, neo soul are not gonna tune in to listen to a BTS member’s project bc their only image of BTS is the most famous songs like butter, dynamite, seven, standing next to you, like crazy, who, etc all those are great songs and they do deserve the recognition for it, but it bothers me that ARMY doesn’t seem to care abt all the members actually reaching their target audiences. So many hiphop fans in the US that could make BTS rappers go so much higher on the charts that don’t take BTS rappers as serious rapper bc 1. They are Asian 2. To them they are K-pop artists 3. They are part of a pop boyband. After 2020 most ARMY became ARMY bc of their english pop releases which were HUUUGE and IMO that affected a lot of how the fandom operates, there is no urgency or movement in correcting that image and reaching US hiphop/rock fans and it’s not something you really see unless you are deep in it, on Twitter, in GCs for promoting, for buying, for streaming, etc. solos make everything 10000x harder as well… it’s been really challenging as an RM bias during chapter 2. Each member has different goals. I personally don't think RM'S goal is the same as Jk's etc etc. The only thing I'd like to see done differently is promoting within spaces that will appreciate their music. Based on the genre. Which is typically how music is promoted outside of the kpop world. V does Jazz/R&B and i would love to see him in some more of those spaces and such. Solos stans should watch Suchwita with an open mind. They will learn that the members are in control of their own promotions. There are lots of examples. Just three examples off the top of my head: on Jimin’s episode, Suga mentions how the members are in control of their own promotions, on J-Hope’s episode he talks about how JHope didn’t release a physical album, and on JK’s last episode they are discussing if JK has enough songs to do a tour. Suga said he does and then JK interrupted and said he’s not going to do that. He was only going to do a showcase. I totally agree with you on solo stans. I’m sort of surprised that you don’t see a lot of Jimin solo Stan comments, too. Consider yourself lucky. The three Maknaes have the most solo stans and they are way more toxic than others. I see more JK and Jimin solos than any and I think it is because to them they are in competition. They are mad and jealous of any attention, awards, records, etc. that the others achieve. They need to be prepared to be mad all the time because I predict that JK and Jimin will break each others records over and over. 😊(and possibly the others if they change their strategy to be more geared towards Billboard Pop audiences) JK is my bias (but I love them all) and I tried in the past to appeal to their solos reasoning, but I gave up. I often got frustrated by solo stans during the solo era.Their constant whining and complaining about their fave's mistreatment and favoritism by Hybe clearly showed that they do not trust their fave. They make their fave appear like a doormat, that he does not have a say on how to manage and promote his solo career when in reality, it has always been a collaboration project between Hybe and the artist. They ignore the fact that the artist has a lot of say on the direction of his solo career. And I hate that they compare one BTS member against the other member because with the boys, there is never a competition between them. FYI, I am a Jimin biased, not a solo stan & I am personally pleased with how JImin's FACE was promoted because I knew that Jimin had a lot of hand in the promotion of his album

I think a lot of fans are still confuse with having biases or solo staning (in the kpop sphere). In kpop it's (a lot of times) very common to solo stan 1 or only some of the members of the group because a lot of kpop companies encourage and capitalize on it. Most Armys are OT7 so they don't condone solo staning where it often gets mix up with biasing. Having biases doesn't necessary mean you are a solo stan but the bias-to-solo-stan pipeline occurs in a lot of cases due to wavering uncertainty breached by other solo stans surrounding them. Solo staning in most cases is because solo stans are creating a lot of chaos within the fandoms so most kpop stans that do stan the entire group(s) are separating themselves with solo stans within their own fandom(s) and vise versa. Bias/biases: Love and respect the entire group while have 1 or more favorite member that they could relate/connect to. Solo stans: Only commit to 1 or some of the members in the group while having prejudice against the rest of the members of the same group.

Personally I figured it out during the IU interview. She asked why she was not invited. That made me look who was there at the album drop. Namjoon seems to not have had any trouble but the vocalline was pretty much plastered to the corner and each other. (Yoongi was ill but fans were angry because the next day he was on stage with Psy for That That) Because there was - besides Jessi and very few others - no one they were better connected to. Besides if you looked at the K-Hiphop scene the discussion was always if Namjoon and Yoongi were real rappers or not. Hoseok did not get mentioned at all. I have even seen some people call him an Idol rapper since he learned rap as a trainee not before. Hope World may also have been a little to bright for Hiphop fans. This was Hobi proving himself a real Rapper to a(n) (international) Hiphop audience - something that Army already knew.

So now that they have started their solo era, the company doesn’t know how to squeeze all the promos into a tight schedule because they filmed a lot for each member, and they were all going to the military at that time. So what happened was all members’ releases are kind of caught up with each other’s schedules. That I think what happened. There's no other reason. -Next topic. Let's be straight. No artist would not dream of being recognized and their music being known. No artist would not wish to do well on the charts. Why release a music if you don't like it to be heard? LOL. All the members wanted to do well in their solo era. Why? Because this is their individual work. It’s who they are and their type of music. As you said, they have different tastes in music. They want growth and to show their worth as artists, revealing who they really are, not just the image the company and fans gave them. Jk's songs were leaked countless times. Who would leak it? Let's be real. Jk's song credit was messed up countless times and we asked KZbin why is this happening always. Guess what? KZbin said, it was the company who have access to putting credit to an MV or a video. It is not KZbin's job to write the credit. Same in spotify. JKs video credit is always messed up and credited to either the company or the group bts even though BTs has nothing to do to that MV or video. Jimin fans were also exposed using a chat plotting to post a fake scandal to try to ruin JK. It was his fans who are brave to threaten JK fans to exposed JKs passport's private information. I love all of the members’ solo projects. I created playlists with the different songs depending on my mood. My bias is JK and his solo songs are great for the MJ nostalgia it brings me but I don’t love the American pop sound. Butter and Dynamite aren’t my favorite BTS songs. I’m not a solo-stan. I love all of BTS and have learned that each of them wants to engage in the type of projects and promotions that’s right for them at that time. Timing matters with the imminent military enlistment. I trust the members to choose what was right for them and I also believe that the company would not want to do anything that would make the members unhappy and leave the label.

Since I don’t want new armies to be brainwashed by this video I will share some facts as to what happened during layover Hybe sabotaging taehyung since armys can only seem to move for others and always ignore all the injustice he had to go through 1. Geffen had time to acknowledge every other members single but nothing for LMA & Rainy Days 2. Slow dancing going missing from billboard global charts (mind you it was the Taehyung Fans who trended on X and then they rectified their mistake) 3. Two fake Slow Dancing songs wrongly credited as Slow Dancing on youtube music, Spotify, Qobuz, Amazon and affecting the original song sales and streams. This never happened to other artists. 4. Putting a high price for Slow Dancing piano version affecting his sales And Not making it available on BTS US Store 5. Giving us digital single for friends which didnt count for billboard charts And then giving incorrect preorders link I can go one with this list to expose the company and their favouritism but some will still choose to be blind and trust this stupid video MIND YOU no artist choose to sabotaged

I agree in some respect however you cannot change my mind on what’s happening and what the company is doing to V. V faced a lot of sabotage compared to the members . Starting with : 1. Sandwiching his Album with JK’s all English songs that are both highly marketed with multiple versions and remixes. It would’ve fine until the antis and Tae haters started to use this to mock him and disregard the success of his Album by calling it a “flop”. Comparing a Slow Korean, r&b, bluesy, jazzy, lowfi, soul EP to JK all English , poppy , Full Album that’s designed for easy music consumption 2. Hybe understocking his Album which made him lose the record to but (but he was still credited for breaking a 23 yr record for selling 2M Album sold and doing it in under 6 hrs) - there was even an article talking about how Hybe underestimated V’s selling power by understocking his Album and meanwhile they have 5M albums available for their other group 3. Geffen didn’t announce or promote layover as they did other members 4. Bighit twitter didn’t change their account page to Layover until they got called out by Tae fans . They still have Jack in the Box when it was already Layover turn. It went on for almost 2 weeks after Layover came out but they changed their page to JK’s Golden the moment Layover promo was over 5. Bighit scheduled a supposed “listening” party for Layover but forgot about it - got called out so they re-scheduled 6. Billboard removing Tae’s songs on the charts and when got called out they apologized for the mistake and put Tae’s songs back 7. Spotify deleting streams 8. KZbin “accidentally” deleting Taehyung’s account with all his subscribers, Army’s called them out and asked for them to fix it . They did weeks into the Layover promo period which was very important for tracking period for Awards 9. Fans receiving “Seven cd” instead of Layover 10. Hybe not promoting or posting about Tae’s ambassadorships but post for all the members . They only did for Cartier when Tae fans called them out for it since Tae’s picture for Cartier was the only one that wasn’t in their account but the other members pictures with their Brands are on it 11. Fans called out Hybe/Bighit For not having a “This is V” account on Spotify and All the members has it when it is important and easy for streaming purposes and to see all his discography. “This is V” account was finally added more than halfway through his promo period 12. Only member that didn’t even have a single US interview to promote his Album . Not even a remote one. RM had one even though he didn’t go to the US to promote personally 13. V is the Idol that has the most Fancams that exceed 10M views each . Hybe deleted a couple of his videos claiming “copyright issues” as a reason for them to remove it. Yet all the other members Fancams of the same video are still up 14. Fancam view count have been deleted 15. Layover is the only Album not included in Hybe account to show members solo albums 16. Hybe never promoted Tae’s solo endeavors as prominently as they did other members 17. Tae’s songs are credited to other artists There’s more that I can’t think of right now. But no one can ever convince me that it’s not sabotage or lackluster support from the company . Or just “bad luck “ or “V’s choice bec members have a say” . It’s ridiculous!. Are solos even listening to themselves? 1. Seven was dropped as a solo independent project. There is no "sandwiching". JK wanted to be a big global Popstar but Taehyung didn't. Wrong music for it, too. It's more "niche". 2. HYBE didn't "understook". The retailers did. They make their own choices how much they pre-order. And if you had paied attention that is what happened to pretty much all albums this year. I remember Jimin solos crying on social media but it happened in downgrading also to say Seventeen, JK, aespa, Stray Kids etc. . context, please. 3. Well, no. Why should they? It is not a good album for the general US market only for US Army. The general music audience in Japan is different in their taste then the US GP. But again the promotions were in a lot of ways handled by MHJ together with Taehyung. 17. They are credited to other artists because he did not make the music/wrote the lyrics or produced it. He choose to use someone else's songs not his own. Why I do not know. Maybe he was to insecure about it. It is not like JK did not do the same thing. For months V was the only one that didn’t have it. All 6 members HAD IT! It’s an EXCLUSIVE PLAYLIST that each member had Except for V! There’s even an article about that as well! I am not talking about who opened their accounts first . We know that Tae opened his back in 2016 bec he had 1 OST song from Hwarang . He had only that for yrs until he released 2 more OST’s in 2020and 2021! And even made records with only 3 unpromoted OST’s . Even his song Fri(end)s has no alternative covers, no physical CDs, ADs/playlisting, no any promotion in USA . It’s an English song right? How they didn’t pre-record a US promo for that ? It’s fine with you as well that Hybe never posted about Tae’s Ambassadorships yet posts for other members? Hybe a lot of times will “promote “ or post a Tae project when and if they get called out! Why just Tae all the time! Some fans even think that it might have something to do with Hybe trying to Trademark “Borahae” as their property . Too bad for them the Korean Intellectual Property denied them 3x saying that the rightful owner of “Borahae “ is Kim Taehyung. Now a lot of the OT6 stopped using that and started using Apobangpo instead (Hybe even put a sign on their bldg at one point) . BORAHAE THE NAME AND COLOR (purple) that became synonymous to BTS they want to just erase? How dumb is that! Notice that during Jin’s show after release the banners were more pink than purple? It could be because it’s Jin favorite color but when did that ever happen? BTS has always been Purple since Tae started “Borahae “! So we’ll see . It could just be that one time. We’ll see if they do that for JHope when he comes out from the Military. Thank God Tae has a lot of loyal fans! That makes sure that he is treated fairly and the same as the other members ! @@MaeMae888 Seven is a summer song. There is no hiding that. It had to drop than. But like Dynamite coming onto the Be album it was not a given that it would drop on Golden, too. It was independent and it was not on purpose - it had something to do with both Taehyung and JK deciding so late what kind of music they wanted to drop. That was unfortunate. And if you paid attention you would know that all solos of all the members had "reasons" to complain. That does not make any of them right. Seven was never ment to be a pre-release - 3D maybe - but not Seven. But again: It is a typical summer song and won awards as such. Do you really expect a Korean R&B song to make the same numbers as an English mainstream Pop song? Taehyung did not want to be a big Popstar like Harry Styles but JK did. Different ambitions for different people. Like I said I see no difference between solos. They all complain about mostly nonsense - well - they are right as far as BB, youtube, Spotify & radio is mainly concerned. But that is true for the group and all of them as soloists. Neither as BTS or alone do they play the dirty game. (and in the same way Taehyung solos hit back at JK solos for "payola" 🙄) You really do not pay attention if you think the BB, youtube, Spotify & radio BS is new and concerns only one artists. Jimin solos for example complained about the split in counting between the English version and the Korean version of Like Crazy - seemingly driven because one name - a songwriter I think - was erased from one version which led to a drop in charting. And I think there was also a Yoongi song attributed to another Suga. Because to a degree these companies don't care or even dislike the intrusion in their market and them not playing the game their way which may lead to active sabotage. How would you know what kind of content the other members had? You do not care enough to actually pay attention to them from what I see. They all worked their butt of. BH/HYBE promoted the stuff that had to do with them - nevermind that from what I remember the members themselves can and will post their stuff on their official social media. Let me point out that MHJ was responsible for the branding - in so far Taheyung let her - and she dropped the first few MVs of NJ without any pre-releases/trailers. She just dropped them no promotion/no warning and it worked. There are always different tactics to promote. Another example is BP wo barely drop any music and are still thought the most successfull K-pop girl group. Some people think they did more fashion than music or were "lazy". And still they were/are very successfull. If someone is "stupid" not to realize that going to MHJ for help with the album would also influence the promo it is you. Pay attention how she did stuff. That is the same with the OST or songs like Dreamers - completly the problem of other labels to promote and ADOR does stuff differently than BH. Nevermind that I'm under the impression BH also had nothing to do with JK's promo - that was on HYBE America/Scooter Braun. I'm also not talking about fan accounts on Spotify. Taehyung already had dropped music. Not to mention that his V account has 5,6 million monthly listeners and This is V only has 401.763 saves. Not sure that the later is that important. I very much doubt HYBE deleted anything. But I do believe that Taehyung haters or black marketers of MHJ claimed that this was their content and it was stolen to please take it down. Most of the stuff is back up because the actual owners of the fancams complained that this stuff is theirs and that the other complainers are NOT the owners. Like I said this happened before. It may stop happening for a while at least if MHJ actually leaves HYBE. FRI(END)S is a gift. Hoseok's song "On the Street (with J. Cole) also had practical no promotion. It was a surprise that Jimin's Closer than This also dropped on his new album - months later - it had no promotion either and with when it dropped it was pretty much overtaken by the Christmas music fast. Maybe Taehyung's song will also be on his next album. Let's hope so. And it seems you missed the entire laundry lists by the solos of other members that complained exactly the same for what was not done/not promoted/done wrong for their fav. They read in it's spirit exactly the same... made by people who have no idea how anything works but want certain stuff because they have seen it somewhere and they want it, too, while convinently forgetting that they also got stuff that the others didn't. People are using Apobangpo because there is absolutly no copyright on Borahae. Taehyung is not going to file for it and solos blocked HYBE from getting it - which means others can use it and make money with it which they do. That is why HYBE filled for copyright in the first place - because while Taehyung mentioned it he is NOT going to file for it - likely because he does not actually care that much: Someone else tried to do so for a compaign for their company. Luckily they were forbidden from it. Which does not mean that they won't do it again or that somewhere else someone is blocked from doing so. It would not surprise me if borahae is actually copyrighted by someone somewhere else - who will make money with it. ARMY decided not to play into other peoples hands and their money till the phrase is copyrighted: either by Taehyung or BH/HYBE. But it does not look like Taehyung is going to do it and HYBE can't anymore. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@@ruthfischer7615 i am not a solo but i did notice bts bcoz of V and now love all of them, V gripped my attention but their friendship keeps me...and objectively speaking i really can see the difference of hybe treatment towards V is undeniably underwhelming compared to others... and i think u r being a bit biased....i know anyone can see and feel and discern this, i just wish u were a bit honest....just saying... instead of being a hybe/bang apologist...i think bts was massively successful bcoz of their love for eo and ever since their solo activities the fandom is shredding itself...if only the company at least treated them equally....maybe it would've helped but honestly bts/army is losing its charm, i loved the camaraderie between the boyz and the fans, now? (a few years ago Indian haters took pretty much BTS official and fan channels down on twitter by claiming it was their content beginning I believe with a selfie from Yoongi) Solos love to make up stuff to be mad about especially since they have no idea how it works and it is not what THEY wanted. They never consider that maybe it is what the member in question wanted. Do yourself a favor and get information from people that are not outright hating/making money from hating others/HYBE/BH/BTS/the members. Not one member was neglected or cheap. The members all encouraged JK to do what he wanted. Yoongi for example on Suchwita and Namjoon at the showcase in Seoul.
