The Buckhorn Saloon in Pinos Altos New Mexico

My Grandpa Cayetano Arrollos is in a miner's group picture at Pinos Altos Museum. He survived the Spanish Flu in Mexico but died of consumption (lung tb?) when my Dad was 5 years old. Love My New Mexico!

Thanks for the post!! Have great memories of visiting there back in nov of 2007 when my older brother (Jim R.I.P) invited our whole family to vacation, visit..us all bein michiganders it was a site to see!! For people that's never been out west Silver City was a great experience!!! Standing on top those gila moutains lol "foothills" you could see forever it seemed without a cloud in the sky just clear blue as could be!!!!..I shall visit the Buckhorn again someday!..thanks

My Folks picked Silver to retire to back in 2011, and I've been to the Buckhorn a couple of times. It's expensive (even to a Chicago-land native), but it's worth it!
