Great way to understand this, Alan. It’s something I had been thinking about recently. I believe you are a veteran too, correct? If so, thank you for your service then and now (with this platform). You have done a lot to expand my understanding of the tradition.

Sir i have a question for example an American Soldier who was deployed to Afghanistan or Iraq had to face combat while they were deployed……if he was an infantryman but if the situation arises for him to take the life of an enemy soldier or combatant in order to save a soldier of his unit or an unarmed civilian from being killed by the enemy would that be accounted as good or bad karma.
