I have the pixel 6, and i don't agree about other budget phones having a better display for undebr $150 bucks bro wtf!! My 6 has been damn good to me with battery life & smooth UI. This just floats. Good review though, you just earned a subscriber!!

The biggest gripe for me here is that I still can't remove the damn search bar for a search engine I no longer use

I still have my pixel 6 pro. Only thing that irks me is the thermals. It still gets warmer than I like. It works well but that heat just drives me nuts.

Great budget phone and the price is great now however the awful thermals are still such a massive drawback in my opinion, this phone turns into an OVEN.

Pixel 6 only had one caveat in my experience, the chipset. Let it down massively, horrible thermals which would in turn cause horrible battery life.

In my experience the thermals wasn't the best but not the worst. The pixel 7 pro actually gave me a lot more trouble even though it wasn't her phone.

Shall I get a 6a or 6 from the second hand market? If I'm getting both at almost the same price. Have researched and heard about the 6 being buggy while the 6a being a better performer although the 6 is better on paper. Really confused.

The fact that the 6a was released about half a year later in India. Makes it a longer more durable choice on the software update front.

​@@asifshamim675 my 6 has never given me an issue, had it since launch. However, with rumors that android 16 is coming in Q2 2025 and pixel 6 is not eligible for that upgrade. It might be wise to purchase a newer phone that will be supported for many years, perhaps the pixel 8 with 7 years of OS support.

How's the battery backup bro . My pixel 6 gives me only 3:30 to 4:00 hour of battery backup which is so less. Have you any idea about this ..

I've read, that the Android 15 Update could destroy the Pixel 6. So I'm hesitating. :(

I’ve had no issues after the update. I did see that some devices are getting messed up after enabling private spaces. So I would’ve advised to update, but don’t unlock private spaces lol. But overall, it works for me.
