I used to go see these guys play in small smokey clubs often when they first started in Portland in the mid 2000s. So many good drunken times. I booked at one of these said small clubs and they left a large crinkled paper bag with a bunch of instruments like tambourines, shakers, etc after a show one night which they would hand out to the audience to play. A few nights later at their next show, at a different venue, I brought the bag to the front of their typically exuberant, fun and drunken crowd, motioned to the singer, and then proceeded to hand out their leftover mini instruments to their people in the crowd to play along to one of their last songs. I think that was the last night I saw them. Such a fun band who really cemented a particularly dark and creative time in Portland pre-Portlandia. Everyone in the band is super nice and a fun fact the lead singer is a Fish Biologist during the day.

Lyrics: Blood-shot your eyes drop And the skin's all wearing thin There's no one here to tell you about the depth of the water Or the trouble that you're in You're dancin' with your demons baby You forgot your former lie And it was hard swimmin' once And now you're daily divin' in And I'm bringin' home the rain There's no supper on the table And my feet are in the flame I'm drying out again All your kin have all gone on to fields all bathed in sun And the only things left in your possession is an empty bottle and a gun And the weekends come and go like tides and they soak you to the neck And pretty soon the weekdays are all the same And I'm bringin' home the rain (I'm bringin' home the rain) There's no supper on the table (No supper on the table) And my feet are in the flame I'm drying out again I'm bringin' home the rain (I'm bringin' home the rain) A baby's cryin' in a cradle (Baby's cryin' in a cradle) And my feet are in the flame I'm drying out again Evil are the demons that haunt you Forgetting what it was that they taught you And now there's no one left to stop you Or to catch you when you drop You're evil as the demons that haunt you Forgetting what it was that they taught you And now there's no one left to stop you Or to catch you when you drop You're evil as the demons that haunt you Forgetting what it was that they taught you But now there's no one left to stop you Or to catch you when you when you When you when your Blood-shot your eyes drop And the skin's all wearing thin There's no one here to tell you about the depth of the water Or the trouble that you're in You're dancin' with your demons baby You forgot your former lie And it was hard swimmin' once And now you're daily divin' in And I'm bringin' home the rain (I'm bringin' home the rain) There's no supper on the table (No supper on the table) And my feet are in the flame I'm drying out again IIm bringin' home the rain (I'm bringin' home the rain) A baby's cryin' in a cradle (Baby's cryin' in a cradle) And my feet are in the flame I'm drying out again And I'm bringin' home the rain (I'm bringin' home the rain) There's no supper on the table (No supper on the table) And my feet are in the flame Oh the ceiling's closin' in

My train hopping partner and close friend listens to these guys. Got me into them and I listen to nothing but metal lol Something about the rhythm. It's dark sound.

For whatever its worth, hang on! As long as you're fighting, it hasn't won. Even the last exit of the road is still an exit. As long as you're not dead, the ring will be open for another round.

Stay strong. Take strength from art (like this music), but don't romanticize your illness. Just keep fighting it, and you will win. God bless you.

You get, what you get in life and I found no difference in what you get in God, or men as the universe has took a life upon itself that even a God, cannot change!
