@@netwitchtatjana4661 That's a fact my friend. Debilitating pain since 8/11/98 has taught me that opiates are my friend, I'm sorry to say, but they improve the quality of my life. I've cold turkeyed off 4 or 5 times over the years due to M.D. issues and of course the Man, so I know what you're going through. All I can say is stay strong in your mission, we'll all be there soon enough in the end. Then we'll all be proud bedridden rejects together.

I used to go see these guys play in small smokey clubs often when they first started in Portland in the mid 2000s. So many good drunken times. I booked at one of these said small clubs and they left a large crinkled paper bag with a bunch of instruments like tambourines, shakers, etc after a show one night which they would hand out to the audience to play. A few nights later at their next show, at a different venue, I brought the bag to the front of their typically exuberant, fun and drunken crowd, motioned to the singer, and then proceeded to hand out their leftover mini instruments to their people in the crowd to play along to one of their last songs. I think that was the last night I saw them. Such a fun band who really cemented a particularly dark and creative time in Portland pre-Portlandia. Everyone in the band is super nice and a fun fact the lead singer is a Fish Biologist during the day.

6 Years ago I heard this track for the first time. Since then I can't live without it. Mainly because of the part that starts at 3:25 "Evil are the demons that haunt you forgetting what it was that they taught you and now there's no one left to stop you or to catch you when you drop" Thank you

Respect. I drink to that. That guy made the point. "there's no one here to tell you about the depth of the water or the trouble that you're in " but then "and it was hard swimmin' once and now you're daily divin' in" So true. Amazing.

Yep! I am still here, 2020 and probably beyond. If it's the black Chevy with the pipes growling or the late nights creeping the backroads on that shine, this is what always gets some play. Outlaws ain't dead or dying, we are busy bringing home the rain. Living like the villains and thinking like the nerds, pass that bottle man! I'm day to day.

This song sums up my entire, experience of Mental health issues, its lyrics are scarily realistic to the struggles depression and anxiety sufferers encounter, I for one have indulged my demons, almost to the point of no recourse, and I am sure many other listeners can concur.

Where has this been all my life? I was listening to some punk rock from the 80's yesterday when Husker Du popped up, a band I loved, and haven't thught of in forever, and since I threw some Punk in with my usual music, (heavy on the Jack White projects and Tom Petty) I've just spent my day (working from home) listening to some great music. I've never heard of this band before, but it is so going on my playlist.

Lyrics: Blood-shot your eyes drop And the skin's all wearing thin There's no one here to tell you about the depth of the water Or the trouble that you're in You're dancin' with your demons baby You forgot your former lie And it was hard swimmin' once And now you're daily divin' in And I'm bringin' home the rain There's no supper on the table And my feet are in the flame I'm drying out again All your kin have all gone on to fields all bathed in sun And the only things left in your possession is an empty bottle and a gun And the weekends come and go like tides and they soak you to the neck And pretty soon the weekdays are all the same And I'm bringin' home the rain (I'm bringin' home the rain) There's no supper on the table (No supper on the table) And my feet are in the flame I'm drying out again I'm bringin' home the rain (I'm bringin' home the rain) A baby's cryin' in a cradle (Baby's cryin' in a cradle) And my feet are in the flame I'm drying out again Evil are the demons that haunt you Forgetting what it was that they taught you And now there's no one left to stop you Or to catch you when you drop You're evil as the demons that haunt you Forgetting what it was that they taught you And now there's no one left to stop you Or to catch you when you drop You're evil as the demons that haunt you Forgetting what it was that they taught you But now there's no one left to stop you Or to catch you when you when you When you when your Blood-shot your eyes drop And the skin's all wearing thin There's no one here to tell you about the depth of the water Or the trouble that you're in You're dancin' with your demons baby You forgot your former lie And it was hard swimmin' once And now you're daily divin' in And I'm bringin' home the rain (I'm bringin' home the rain) There's no supper on the table (No supper on the table) And my feet are in the flame I'm drying out again IIm bringin' home the rain (I'm bringin' home the rain) A baby's cryin' in a cradle (Baby's cryin' in a cradle) And my feet are in the flame I'm drying out again And I'm bringin' home the rain (I'm bringin' home the rain) There's no supper on the table (No supper on the table) And my feet are in the flame Oh the ceiling's closin' in
