This was a much needed opportunity for two well informed participants to clear up the prevailing information asymmetry on Chainlink; most casts I've seen are misinformed bear cases. All they did was speak facts, it just happens to be ultra bullish. David offered the caveat for balance & invited people to DYOR; and he showed great character by hosting this (by himself) in the first place. Allowing guests to speak (longform) without constant interruption or back & forth is the best thing to come out of new media imo.

Two arguments for why LINK the token has value: 1. Node operators will need to stake LINK. This might work but a competitor service without this requirement and use ETH for staking instead and will be more secure as it not subject to the LINK price volatility. 2. Users can optionally pay with LINK for oracle services. There's no reason a user will buy LINK just to use it to pay if they can just pay with other tokens they already have. A better model would be LINK just be a governance token and services been priced in ETH with dividend sharing for LINK holders.
