@@matiasbenedit8157 You set hours/minutes with the GMT hand. Then set local time and date with the first position on the crown. You can set the GMT hand to whatever time you want rather than GMT. Some people set it to their home time if they have no need for GMT. Setting GMT is useful if you have a rotating bezel and you know the GMT offsets of other commonly used timezones.

@@matiasbenedit8157 I know this is quite a bit late, but technically yes but you have to adjust the whole watch. In your case, I would recommend one that has a rotating bezel as well, or what’s call the office or call GMT. Those types of GMT watches, allow you to adjust the GMT hand without affecting any other of the hands.

Now I understand why this watch are sold out everywhere. I am shocked how accurate this watch is. I have a lot of automatic watches but no one is accurate like this one is. This watch has deviation less than +1 second per day. How it is possible to construct such accurate automatic watch? This watch are watch revolution.

i bought this watch last december. i wished i got the white dial instead because i found the blue face harder to see. the contrast isn't as big as the white dial. i also have an orient polaris gmt with white dial and blue hands. it is very easy to see. as far as the accuracy goes, mine isn't as good as some of our friends' here. it is about 4~6 sec a day. it isn't a big deal, but wished it would be better. what i'm interested to find out is if there is a stainless bracelet with solid end piece that will fit this watch. currently i have it on a nato strap.

There is probably some that would fit the lug width, but the solid end link aspect may be hard to find.

a GMT without a 24h directionable bezel is a useless gmt, it does not serve as a gmt! the 24h bezel is used exactly to avoid to move the hands inside, otherwise where should be the benefit of owning a gmt? any other watch can be set as you please, a real GMT helps you to read 2 times at one shot!

No, that's not how it works. The nature of a GMT is in the ability to adjust the local and GMT hand separately. Everything else is extra features. The Seamaster GMT has a dive-timing bezel, but is a real GMT, for example.

Actually a real GMT with a rotating 24-hour bezel can show 3 times at once.

hmm.... i guess omega seamaseter aqua terra gmt, rolex gmt-master, grand seiko gmt, etc. are all useless gmt because none of those got a rotating bezel...... 🤣
