Martin Horn, Areo PA sold Bultacos in Northern Illinois and had a black one in his showroom for years.

Yeah, actually the Streakers did sit in showroom for a long time and nobody wanted them, and now! Funny how that works

I have one still on a CO, complete with service and parts manual, complete gasket kit. It’s had its problem, primarily bad timing curve on the ign. system. I’ve changed the carburetor to a mikuni, rebuilt the brake calipers.

I heard that the OEM spec timing was way off. I have tp check others for the new spec, and maybe do crank seals for good measure

Love bultacos, but the kick levers piss me off. The Campera mk1 and matador mk3 both hit the foot peg.... the 73 Suzuki TS400K brings me back to sanity when I need it.

I tend to move my kicker so it rests between the 10 and 11 oclock position, then it will engage between 12 and 1 oclock, and the all the way down as your foot comes near the footpeg on the down stroke. And I kick with my right leg standing next to the bike. Seems to work for me. Hope this helps

Be carful with the fiberglass tank, ethanol in the gas will kill the tank!

Yes. I dont run ethanol in anything, and really dont leave fuel in any old fiberglass tank except when I am riding it

I adjust the kicker so it will sit around 10-11 Oclock, and engage between 12:00 and 1:00, so that the bottom of the throw is just shy or at the foot peg. It gets easier.
