It’s truly a tragedy that so many people think he didn’t give it his all with the national team. In my eyes the greatest footballer in Peruvian. Opened doors for the likes of Paolo Guerrero and Farfan
@0piero013 жыл бұрын
How old are u? Because i remember correctly when claudio would miss a bunch of peruvian games because he would "injure himself" all the time right before a game. Or when he would go to peru he would always get caught drinking the night before at clubs. Always, and he would bring the young players with him to drink late nights. But he didnt do that in germany cuz he made the big bucks there.
@gigasmol3 жыл бұрын
@@0piero01 come on man accusing players of faking injuries? Was his performance the same as when he played in Germany, no. Unfortunately in my opinion, Pizarro played the worst position an elite player can play when surrounded by below average players. Pizarro is a true striker, he’s not gonna build the play and finish it himself. Lewandowski has the same issue internationally so he tries to play more of an attacking mid and is not nearly as impressive.
@gigasmol3 жыл бұрын
@@0piero01 as for the partying, the whole team partied. Including the coaches lol. They party to this day. It seems that people only cared when Pizarro partied. We have players that have pretty much thrown careers away from too much partying and we choose the one player that has succeed and choose him as an example? Sounds backwards

Micoud, Diego, Mertesacker, Naldo, Borowski, Frings, Ailton, Klose, Pizarro, Özil... 2 German cups, 1 German league title and the Euroleague Final 2009. 2010 is when it all started to fall apart and 2021 was when we relegated the first time in 40 years and also the second time ever in the Bundesliga

Even to this day Claudio Pizarro and Giovanne Elber are by far the most respected non-german players which ever played in the bundesliga they just don't have any haters here. Even i love them and i'm a wolfsburger and both of them scored tons of goals against us. :)

Seems as if German football is somewhere in the back of everyone involved in football in England - especially at Copa90. Adding to the Ailton clip, the Grafite-Dzeko clip (where you somehow forgot to value the role of Misimovic appropriately?!?!?) and the "Wow, the DfB Pokal is actually a great competition, how come we never knew this???" surprise, this is the next instance of, well, false expectations due to being misinformed but suffering from the "thinking to be an expert in EVERYTHING football related"-version of the ever-present Dunning-Kruger Effect... In the Bundesliga and among its followers, Claudio "Pizza" Pizarro is certainly a legend, a hero, a role model and one of its best know players, and that counts over the now 58 years of Bundesliga competition. And he has that status for many reasons: his playing ability to start with, but also his seeming ability to play world class football at the two most opposite clubs of the league as well as his unbelivable ability to "play one more year, since the team is short on strikers" and then even scoring multiple goals at age 40+ all the while being one of those players that everybody likes or loves and nobody hates or dislikes (unless he scores against you, but even then...). The title of this video only makes sense to someone who does not know the Bundesliga but only sees Bayern, BVB or the odd other team in Champions League games. Come one Copa90 - is that you self-set standard or are you slowly but surely turning to yellow-press tactics and start to slowly disown the actual competency you have in bringing football knowledge, football fandom and solid journalism together to create an interesting yet meaningful product and service?

They are the only Peruvian club in the world that has been never relegated, and they together with Sporting Cristal are the only ones in Peru to reach a Copa Libertadores final

Success (the opposite of failure) is the status of having achieved and accomplished an aim or objective. Being successful means the achievement of desired visions and planned goals. ... The dictionary describes success as the following: “attaining wealth, prosperity and/or fame”. Personally i think and strongly believe that if any winning does not go along with the impact on people that winning itself does not equals to success. Therefore, the guy in this video is correct.
@ArtTVES Жыл бұрын
@@raulvalverde6979 bro when we talk about success in football the money doesn’t care, cares the titles, the good matches but Alianza Lima hasn’t any of that on titles is overcome by Universitario, Universitario has never been relegated, but alianza yes, good matches all clubs have but Alianza has the worst streak in Copa Libertadores . 30 matches without winning , 10 years. So if we talk about success in football the least that comes to mind is MONEY, Money doesn’t give you success just take a look to PSG or Manchester City

@@aidygooner agreed. As a lover of football in general more than i love my club i cant stand seeing the eternal clubs suffer. Hamburg and Bremen are two of Germany's mightiest and where they are now in stature is hard to look at. I had Bundesliga broadcasted on my local tv for 5 years and the commentary teams always mentioned Hamburg as the dinosaurs of the league because then they never been relegated. Werder were always a team i respected when i was a neutral to bundesliga, still do respect them. I heard Schalke dropped this year and part of me cant help but feel bad for them
