Yes, more German football stories like this, please! That was an amazing season, Hoffenheim were top during winter break and this was their first ever Bundesliga campaign. Wolfsburg were 8th at the time, but they were just unstoppable in the second half of the season.

It's because Man City stifled his career. He would've potentially been Lewandowski level, or just shy of that, had he gone to a team like Bayern instead of to England. Not saying he wasn't good at City, they wouldn't have won either EPL title without him, but he never got the chance to shine because of how many good strikers they had. When he joined, they had Tevez, Adebayor, Santa Cruz and Jo. Then, half a year later they brought in Aguero and after that Negredo. He showed how good he was again at Roma where he was the main man offensively.
