As a father and grandfather of girls, this was heartwarming to see your daughter working on this awesome looking tractor with you. She's quite talented, and has a great smile. Also, that's a really nice looking shop. My girls and I are raising TAMUKs in TX, and are thinking about a colony setup.

I really appreciate that. My girls are very involved in all are projects and it makes it just that much more fun. I’m interested to see how a colony set up works out for you. Good luck and let us know.

Looks great. Rabbits are fun for kids as well as adults. We are in the process of building a grazing pen for our rabbits as well. Thanks for the great ideas.

Good job sir! The cattle fence looks better than the 2"x4" fence. If I could redo my tractor I would have bought the 4"x4" fence because it's cheaper than the hog/cattle fence. I'm worried about my 19-guage hardware cloth floor because the bunnies are chewing at the grass under it and pulling at the mesh. It all depends on what you can afford. I live near a Habitat for Humanity reuse shore so I can find cheap used stuff.

Thanks! I didn't even think about checking out a Habitat for Humanity location. Thats brilliant. Thanks for the tip!

@@cedarporchhomestead Sorry, typo, that was 4"x4" fence works great for the bottom of the rabbit tractor. 2"x4" is too small for my Flemish Giant, but prevents digging. I'm personally using a 69"x29" metal chicken coop with 2.4 8-feet pressure treated boards setup so the bunnies can't chew on it by covering the entire bottom with 3-feet wide fence, and using a 3-feet wide 1/2" hardware cloth for the floor to make an elevated bunny house using the metal chicken perch that comes with the coop, and you run the HW Cloth vertical up around the perch and back down to connect to the 2x2. You then insert reflective insulation wrapped in waterproof outdoor curtain, and wrap the outside with two lengths of 24" side reflective insulation wrapped in outdoor curtain, and you do another piece of insulation wrapped in curtain for the rear of the house, and staple that to the 2x2 on the outside, and it makes a really good cover. Just requires some sowing.
That’s hilarious…. And I appreciate your comment. 🤣😂👨🏻🚒

I think your going to find that tractor is to small. We use 4×8. 2 rabbits pretty much destroy the ground in a day.

I totally agree if we had more rabbits in the tractor and we also move it twice a day, so that helps. Thank you for your advice, I’ll keep that in mind for the next one.

Treated lumber and livestock?? That will poison your animals. Bad idea.
