Thanks Mike. As a safe-cycling channel, I had to keep the A82 experience in ... it wasn't pleasant! I was thinking of your West Highland Way attempt, passing through Kinlochleven!

It's a 50 on that road, that should be highlighted. Locals do that speed . Blind summits and tight corners. Way too many think it's an empty road and nearly end up as bonnet ornaments.

Thanks for your comment. Irrespective of signed speed limits, the only safe speed is one where the driver can stop within the distance s/he can see to be clear. If that were adhered to bonnet ornaments would be a thing of the past.
