Seeing you pass up burning the straight in favor of burning a pair is kind of the biggest showcase why burnt is so lame. As soon as you get that jonkler your run becomes a pair run. Burnt pair is way too overtuned to the point it overshadows everything else. One of the biggest design flaws with planet levels is that they kind of railroad you into doing one hand over and over and that's not as fun to watch. They could easily make burnt a lot more fun to use by requiring you spread out its upgrades somewhat so you can't just death dot them all into pair.

Hey man I noticed you were talking about the speed of the game. I was wondering if you could experiment with it turned up. Personally I love watching your balatro videos because it’s super interesting to see how the builds turn out, but sometimes I just don’t have the time to sit there at watch through at 38 minute long video. And I don’t think I’m alone in this boat. I think it would increase your viewer retention because as people watch for longer they click off. But if you were to make the speed faster is would speed up the videos so viewers can get to see the meat of the build sooner. Please consider. Thanks.

generally I think 2x is a great speed for both playing and watching, but leveling up hands is kinda slow compared to other actions in the game, so doing it twice in a row can feel a little slow

Howdy, here to answer your question. The “Eternal Symbol” (the infinity symbol on the top left corner) prevents the card to be sold/destroyed no matter what, giving complete immunity from being destroyed from hex cards, Madness Jokers, etc.

90% of jokers are rubbish. You need the few "multiplier" ones to win. The rest are time wasters. Clever devs ?!

Not every joker needs to be a piece in an infinite engine. The game's definition of victory is only ante 8, after all. Not only is there a plethora of jokers that get you there diversely, there are also strategies with non joker mechanics at the crux. If you want to go further, naturally you'll have to work harder.

Its more like a double edged sword. Like that one joker that doubles any probabilities. It makes lucky cards better but also makes the banana joker worse and the 1/7 face down boss ante harder just as an example.
