I absolutely dig Your style sir. Such a wonderful hybrid of early thrash and the open chord styling from single guitar bands in the 70's .Tony, you were a HUGE influence on me back in the day, and I am a Whiplash fan to this day. The band's classic tracks are arranged so perfectly; economical use of riffs, matched with a furious energy. That intangible chemistry... Here, it's cool to see you stressing the importance of at least the rudiments of reading music and basic theory; it really does help. Especially in terms of musical communication between bandmates; complicated passages can be learned so much faster if notation is used. Thanks for taking the time to share your years of experience.
