I'm not at all saying it's ok to be nasty to your child but I know even as a baby she has always been the one that challenges them. She's always thrown the worst tantrums/very whiney and always wants to be in charge. And was the most physically agressive. But she's also very smart. The show got several producers who just aren't standing at the side looking at what is happening. They introduce and instructs the family what they should do to create action and interesting photage. They probably suggested using RV's to travel, knowing how much drama that created in 8+Kate, and without giving them info on how to operate the vehicles. The more challenges the producers can introduce in the show the more intensity and action will be created. You'll see this in every episode that the producers try and get the family out of their comfort zone.
