Geez, how much insecurities Momoi have? Like, Yamaoka is somebody who's working at another company. They don't have same love interest (at least, Yamaoka didn't know who is Momoi's wife at that time). They're not even from the same school/college/university. They have no other connection other than work, from a company to another. Yet, he gets jealous with Yamaoka just because he got higher position at younger age. He said himself that the scale of their company is different, so of course the way they evaluate their workers are also different. It's really dumb reason to get jealous.

In real life MC would have told his boss Momoi was acting like a jerk and it would have been looked into even before the contract got cancelled. That said we all know our MC always wins in the end in these so having him be married to the President's daughter just makes it that much worse for Momoi in the end as he just dug the hole deeper and deeper.
