PBS - PLEASE make the FULL documentary available to an international audience. A Boston friend sent me the link for the full doc but it is blocked here in Italy. I’m a former Bostonian who was involved in the struggle for racial justice and very much want to see this film. Thank you.

Oh, how I remember Louise Day Hicks...and nobody went into Southie except...well... This was a manufactured zero-sum game that only served to rend a grinding class issue into an often violent ethnic struggle bordering on an outright war. The worst case of flawed public policy imaginable.

I gre up in Boston ( West Roxbury) and am ashamed to say that my family campaigned for Louise Day Hicks. I was a high school sophomore in 1974. My siblings and I went to parochial school because our parents didn’t want us to get bused. We were so segregated we never saw any black people in W Roxbury, only when we went into downtown Boston on the T.

Why was this done? Sounds like neither side wanted it. Chris Rocks stories are horrendous of being bussed.

Didn't think so. Didn't specify Baltimore City or Baltimore County either and there are many school districts in both. Didn't specify which one of those either. You just made it up. Just made it up to please fellow travelers.
