I like your attitude on going to the salon and getting your hair cut. You get the service, without any mention you pay for the work performed, and go home and tweak it to your liking. Obviously if something outrageous happens, by all means, speak up but for the most part you accept the reality and show the person grace. More people could learn from that. Well done ma’am.

Thanks, I worked in customer service for a very long time and try to always put myself in the shoes of others. I see no reason to act like an ass over simple things. Happens to me every time. I had 1 girl that did my hair perfect for at least 5 or 6 years. She left and became a radiologist. I tell you I was so extremely sad. Never found another stylist after her. I do the same. Only 1 time that I said a lil something. I won a free color from a fancy salon. I swear with all of my heart that my hair was pure orange and when I said it looked orange they told me it didn't. I was mortified. I just tipped and left in tears. I went to my regular girl and she said OMG, what did you do?? So I had to explain to her what happened. Thankfully she fixed my hair with no problems. This girl was fantastic. I couldn't believe I found her in a hair express. I was heartbroken when she quit doing hair but I understood.

I do love it! My mom has thin hair and tells me all of the time she could make a wig to cover her head with what I shed every day 🤭. I had to grow to love it though, when I was younger I didn’t like it, I wanted smooth straight hair that didn’t grow 5 sizes when it rained outside. 🤣… isn’t it always something 🥰

Thank you 😊! I haven’t had any color or anything on it in over 5 years now … I wash it 2-3 times a week and most of the time I don’t use a ton of heat on it. Once in a while I use that dryer brush and it makes it smooth and bouncy. It’s natural state is curly in spots and poofy in others 🤣

You look amazing and have gorgeous curly hair! 😍 Thinning shears cause split ends, point cut the ends instead (my hair stylist told me that). We have real similar everything (to the point that I wonder if were related😂). I don't have your beautiful curls, my sister does. I did this cut, but the one thing I noticed is it doesn't take anything off that bottom layer, so I had to get creative taking the dry ends off that bottom layer. Did you notice the same? It adds nice layers, but it doesn't shorten the overall length?

You have beautiful hair and you cut the perfect amount other wise you couldn't see the layers. When my hair was to my tailbone I done the butterfly haircut on my hair a few times and like you learn you have to cut 4 to 5 inches so you can notice the layers.

Hiya. I needed a hair cut as mine is wavy & past shoulder length. It hadnt been cut since November. KZbin brought Brad's clip into my feed randomly around December after my hairdresser told me her cut prices were increasing again. I usually have my hair cut every 4 months. I bought some hairdressing scissors this week, then suddenly went for it and did the cut as you did - but point cutting as I dont own thinning scissors. I faffed and struggled to get the sections as my hair wavy and struggled wind the hair ties round for some reason - probably cos not used to doing it at the front. I cut nearly 3 inches off as didnt want short layers dropping in my face, annoying me. I hesitated and fretted abut b 4 doing the first cut but then did the back one faster. I luv it. I paid out for scissors, a comb and hair ties this time round, but this cut really suits my wavy hair & like you said it's not as heavy, so is less flat now theres these new layers. This is my cut now. No going back. I have my hair coloured by hairdresser, but all thanks to KZbin & Brad - I just pay for a colour, as I now do the cut!! Yours looks as great as mine does, similar colour/waves tho yours a bit longer than mine - but yippee it worked (never cut my own hair before cept fringe) !!! Yrs looks fab.

Beautiful hair! Honey, yur supposed to bring the elastics down and cut above them so the hair that u cut stays inside the elastic. It's serves as a perfect measurement as well as easy clean up. Also, what u fid is called The Wolf Cut. Butterfly is much more detailed and involves extra steps after removing elastics to blend the layers. Regardless, it looks wonderful! Even if you mess up your hair is wavy/curly so it will still blend. Even though I have been a Licensed Cosmetologist since 1978 I will only trim my hair I have hair below my waist and my Husband has hair too his knees and a beard too his navel neither of us have cut our hair for over 30 years even his beard. We don't like short hair I'm 65 and he is 74 even my two Daughters have long hair as do my 5 Grandchildren and we live in Arizona. We also have a clause that if anyone cuts their hair with out asking we will get a Divorce 😂😂

You are supposed to take 2 pills and day but back in 2003 I had to have emergency surgery I had bleeding ulcers and they found cancer but I only have a stomach the size of a lime so I take one at night and one in the morning I coded 3 times during surgery so in order to keep me alive they had to take almost all of my stomach I'm 5'3 and weigh 85 to 90 pounds when they did the surgery I weighed 105 pounds and I have a scar from my navel to my sternum. My Husband is 6'4 and 160 pounds my hair has always been very fine and straight and I just keep it in a braid or ponytail so I'm lucky my Daughters both have very thick hair but they don't complain one is 43 and the other is 45 they were born on the same day two years apart I feel on a wonder horse my Mom had license day care and my Grandma passed away so My Mom went to New Mexico for the burial and to determine who got what. But my Husband is in a Motorcycle Club 1% in the World and any time we get pulled over they ask him if his hair is real it's kinda funny but I braid it all the time and people always stare at him once we were on one of our Harley Davidsons and they were looking at him and almost got in a severe accident because they were not watching the lights . Your hair looked beautiful after you washed it and blow dryer it getting gray hair means you have lived a wonderful life we bought have gray hair he has more than me infact his beard is almost all gray. Your hair is a lot like mine. Are you still able to get it up in a bun? That’s what I’m most afraid of. I have it up in a bun most of the time, but I’d like to be able to have a nice cut when I want it. Like you, I have thick hair that is curly, but dries straight.

I can get it in a messy bun, claw clip, pony, 1/2 up 1/2 down … I haven’t tried like a twisted neat bun … it works for everything else since there’s still plenty of length 🥰 … the layers just lighten it up a bit, give it more movement and it feels better!

I had one for a long time and she was my absolute favorite! After we moved I have yet to find one that I just can’t live without … Lol. So, I watched video after video and decided, “what the hell” 🤷🏼‍♀️. I love how it turned out! I will definitely do it again. 🥰
