This isn't the Jaclynn butterfly hair cut. It would be a more intense hair cut without thinking out the ends to piece it out on the ends. Hair dresses are lazy when doing this cut. I learned the correct way in school.

This was the perfect cut for Dawn! It did so much for her face, eyes and cheeks! I am a retired Esthetician (due to a Hemorrhagic Stroke) and Dawn could see herself in her heart’s eyes, this lovely style! Man all i see in here are tutorials for the Shag! It's so funny. Do they even know we ALL had this haircut in the 70s?? Haha😅. It is nice being shown how to do it. I have a photo of Jaclyn Smith to take to my hair stylist, too. I was supposed to get my hair done last week, then got sick so had to postpone. This is exactly how I want my hair to look, except I’m 64 so I have my stylist weave an ash blonde with my gray so that it grows out and doesn’t have sharp gray roots. It keeps me from having to get it weaved so frequently. If I didn’t live in CA, I’d be coming to you! I really enjoyed this video! 👍🏼🙏🏼❤️

So gorgeous!! I'm so bummed out you're across the country from me! I would LOVE for you to do my hair. You did such a fantastic job! Her hair was still full at the bottom and did not look way shorter from the front. Any time I ever got layers in my hair I would end up with my hair in a vee shape in the back and it looked thin on the bottom and short from the front. That's why I grew it out in the first place & have been literally afraid to let anyone give me an actual haircut instead of keeping it to a trim with a few face framing layers. I'm 63 and back in the 70's I has a haircut like this between this and my idol Stevie Nicks. I love it. But I would go get a haircut and style for years and the stylist knew one way to do hair. It would always be slicked to my head and no body. I want the bounce, the fluff but to be cool without being too much. I love this

As an old hairstylist with over 40 yrs experience, the haircut was done so well, & absolutely gorgeous! I love your techniques as that is the way I learned to cut & style hair. I am old, but my haircuts are better than haircuts I see today. The younger generation hairstylists wants to be way too fast, make quick & easy money, be lazy on doing the cuts, & the haircut looks terrible. Their techniques are crazy too, and doesn't look good when the client walks out of the salon door. Hairstylists need to watch and learn from you. The haircut & style looked exactly like Jacqueline Smith's haircut & style! Beautiful!

Awesome! I love the positive attitude! I cut my own hair and I’m always afraid of messing it up, but I try to just tell myself “it will grow back if you don’t like it!” You do an amazing job both with the hair cut and the teaching! 😊

I totally agree with you I recall the shag came out in the 70's and everyone loved their shag . I cut many long and shorter shag cuts 😊✂️

Looks Great... An example of how Style always repeats itself; Style I learned in the 76's in Cosmetology School...Great tutorial and you would be a very Good Instructor...My hair is long and natural curly and very similar to this, as best I can cut my own now... Keep Posting!
