This isn't the Jaclynn butterfly hair cut. It would be a more intense hair cut without thinking out the ends to piece it out on the ends. Hair dresses are lazy when doing this cut. I learned the correct way in school.

Man all i see in here are tutorials for the Shag! It's so funny. Do they even know we ALL had this haircut in the 70s?? Haha😅. It is nice being shown how to do it. For 40 years I've had to literally describe what this cut looks like to hair stylists that have NO CLUE what a "Shag" or "lioness" or a "Gypsy" cut was. Now they do!! YAY!!🎊🎉🎈✨️🎈

Wow! that is one of the prettiest hair cuts I've seen in many years. So many hair stylists don't cut hair properly anymore! They don't take their time or perfect their talent for the profession! I could tell this cut was going to be perfect by the way you took your time and checked each section making sure it was even and balanced!! Most don't even wash the hair anymore! I have a photo of Jaclyn Smith to take to my hair stylist, too. I was supposed to get my hair done last week, then got sick so had to postpone. This is exactly how I want my hair to look, except I’m 64 so I have my stylist weave an ash blonde with my gray so that it grows out and doesn’t have sharp gray roots. So gorgeous!! I'm so bummed out you're across the country from me! I would LOVE for you to do my hair. You did such a fantastic job! Her hair was still full at the bottom and did not look way shorter from the front. Any time I ever got layers in my hair I would end up with my hair in a vee shape in the back and it looked thin on the bottom and short from the front. That's why I grew it out in the first place & have been literally afraid to let anyone give me an actual haircut instead of keeping it to a trim with a few face framing layers. As an old hairstylist with over 40 yrs experience, the haircut was done so well, & absolutely gorgeous! I love your techniques as that is the way I learned to cut & style hair. I am old, but my haircuts are better than haircuts I see today. The younger generation hairstylists wants to be way too fast, make quick & easy money, be lazy on doing the cuts, & the haircut looks terrible. Their techniques are crazy too, and doesn't look good when the client walks out of the salon door. Hairstylists need to watch and learn from you. @@coach-kimmy so kind of you to ask, but no more classes for me.. I also paint and wallpaper plus my salon. The CE’s alone drive me crazy lol.. my schedule is full and I have grandbabes and I put them in anywhere I can.. (not married anymore) so I stay busy to pay for what I have. 😊

I find that it is so much easier to cut and style caucasian hair because the cuticle layer is mostly closed so you don't need to straightenbor flatten the outer layer of the strands to get an even cut, plus the hair takes very little heat to make it curl into the shape you want and no matter how you curl it it falls into a natural oattern on its own.
