Nice review. But isn't it the other way around? When the knee is at 0 it's soft clipping and as u turn it clockwise it goes for hard clipping?

Awesome demonstration! Out of curiosity, what is the Oscilloscope you are using in the bottom right during the demo?

BX Clipper has been my go-to clipper for quite a while. The issue I'm having with it is using it on a 4K display in Ableton Live Release 12. When using BX Clipper in "Non-Scaling" Mode the UI is gorgeously sized to my display but all of the UI animations are frozen in place. The clipper is working of course, it's just I can see the wave form animation or the meters moving. If I turn on Ableton's plugin scale feature I will get the BX Clipper in its standard 1080p UI but blown up to 4K which is a UI text nightmare because everything is all blurry. This is not unique to BX Clipper, but rather most of my Plugin Alliance plugins. I have been patiently waiting for a patch to fix this issue for quite a while. It's the same thing with all of my Izotope plugins. Oddly enough; SSL has updated ALL of their legacy plugins to now fully support 4K displays and they were the last ones I thought would beat the rest of the industry.
