Of course Brainworx would have to release this just after I bought VintageWarmer 2 from PSP. Dammit. I've really been wanting just a clipper for all the reasons you explained. Not a saturator or a tape emulation, or an overdrive or whatever, I have them, I just want a clipper. Now I have to spend more money. Good thing Plugin Alliance posts killer sales multiple times a year. 😉 Cool walkthrough dude, thanks.

Men, I love VintageWarmer, that’s an absolute classic you got. And yes, just wait for the sale. In any case if you want to jump on it early I have a $50 voucher I’m not using. DM me on IG @orlandodproducer so I can send you that. ☺️🙌🏻

I just bought Bx Clipper it’s on sale now. Still kinda pricey (70) but better than 249 and I’ve wanted this plugin for a long time

would it be overkill to use this on lots of tracks within a project??

I’d say go nuts but that wouldn’t be responsible. 🤣 Honestly, depends on what you’re trying to do and how much of this your mac/pc can handle. 🙂

I think you didn’t explain correctly how to use the Auto Ceiling You have to go to the wave screen and click on the check when it show you the number will adjust to what it capture
@ElishaRecords Жыл бұрын
I did, I didn’t say it for sure. Thanks for catching that. But yes, after you check that it will update. Now, it stays at 0 for this beat because I do proper gain staging, if the input is lower then it will adjust to another value, like on the mid/side example. But yes, you need to activate the auto ceiling, wait for the value, and then click on the check. ☺️👍🏻

I don't like it. Sorry. That clipping thing is destroying music...

I get it, there’s people who don’t know how to use it or simply abuse it and it’s awful. But there are scenarios where is absolutely a must. But yeah, it always depends.

@@xaosm_os I would say, musicians who don’t know how to use silence are destroying music.

A very poorly designed plugin. Who needs such a looong db meter for clipping? And no option to scale it to see more details. The values of how much is clipped are barely visible. Yeah yeah - don't give me that "use your ears" crap... Half controls are symmetrical - half not... The skin is supper dark and for me liking lighter interface it's a no go. Ambience is just Delta - don't re invent the wheel. Really bad job and nothing special about the abilities of the plugin. Designed by gen-Z lol M/S is a good idea - but I am sure TDR Limiter 6 is a by far more superior offer.

All good brother! I do love TDR Limiter as well. Nothing wrong with trying out new things. It's good to have options

@@ElishaRecords I had hopes for it be my go to plugin for clipping as I am on subscription, but got disappointed only. I am using a free peakeater plugin incited - probably not as nicely sounding, but very pleasing to use.

@@igorkhomenko2508 I need to check that one out. I’m always open to new stuff.
