A beginner level Pilates exercise used to prepare for the Roll Up, to mobilise the spine and to improve abdominal strength.
Exercise Visualisation:
Keep this exercise smooth and controlled. Visualise your spine making the shape of the letter C as you roll down through the spine.
Exercise Watch Points:
Keep the movement smooth and controlled. Shoulders are soft and away from the ears. Careful not to jam the chin down onto the chest. If the small ball is behind your back careful not to unfold and straighten your spine. Keep the C shape.

This video is part of Pilates Lifestyle's interactive Small Ball series available for iPhones, iPads or DVD.
