Really nice cover, but this reminds me even more of the Johnny Winter version than the Ray Charles version. Especially the vocal. Johnny had his brother Edgar on piano. If you haven't heard Winter's version, you should.

They’re drinking and laughing and talking while he’s channeling. Horrible life. The problem is he never takes off. He can’t. He’s got 9/10ths. Ray had 10/10ths. A shame. Ray would explode after the buildup. I think this guy could, but he doesn’t.
