I just found your channel….and love your presentation skills. Very clear both orally and visually….AND…thank you for not inserting music. Although I have been crocheting and knitting for more than 50 years…I always love learning new patterns, as well as tips and tricks from others. I found this video…very relaxing and subscribed. Looking forward to seeing your other videos. Thank you for sharing your skills with others.

Remember to try new things as it keeps your mind active and makes you think. Every once in awhile, go for something a bit more complicated just for a change of pace. Love your patterns Fiber Spider and look forward to your tutorials.

I find him so easy to trust! His passion is infectious. I love that he says of simple patterns that, “They are a joy, not a chore to do.” I couldn’t agree more & have thought many times that some pattern makers seem to take pleasure in adding unnecessary twiddles & twitches that drain all the joy out of making them. I feel like I want to adopt this charming man!
@FiberSpider5 жыл бұрын
Thank you, I agree that bells and whistles are not always what makes an enjoyable pattern. As for adopting me, don't let my mom know you said that, she'd pay you for the chance to turn my room into a sewing room, lol.

Neat stitch....I like the way it is a “mindless pattern” you know what I mean by that.. sometimes I’m crocheting in a place with many distractions and I don’t need anything too complicated. Very pretty...thank you FiberSpider
@IDontSuckAtLifeakaJanis39755 жыл бұрын
I hear ya. Some places you just can't concentrate on 5 of this, double into that, sk, sc2tog, so etc and then onto more counting and varying stitches...just need something simple, pretty, but not boring to work on

Hi fibre spider, this is gorgeous stitch it reminds me of summer stitches fortops, winter is very harsh here at moment in Ireland cold and so dark, so watching youcheers me so much, you are the best, thanks so much for all your time and hard work, hugs,

Ok, it’s difficult to get Red Heart ombré in the UK, so I settled for Caron Simply Soft ombré in avocado. I was furious to discover no less than three unspun messes that had to be thrown away within the first few feet of the skein. Anyway, after a tantrum & a lie down in a darkened room (I get very Jane Austen at moments like that,) I begun working along with your tutorial. What an absolute joy this stitch is! I prefer to use the triple rather than the double for the loops, but that just means it grows even faster! It’s going to be a lovely Springtime scarf, I may even make a wrap. Thank you once again for the tutorial.
