Enjoyed the cafe tour- we were there in August 2024 and loved Deux Magot early morning and Procorpe for dinner, keep up the great vlogs

Another great video Alain! 👍But, do Parisians actually go to Café de Flore or Magots anymore? I suppose Magots is something worth trying once, but I'm not a fan of Café de Flore. Lipp and Procope are much better I've found. With Le Bonaparte Café, Brasserie Des Prés, and Jacobine would be my first choice for Saint-Germain-des-Prés area, although Jacobine is getting touristy.

If you want a real Parisian café experience, then there are plenty of other choices much cheaper. But going to Flore or les Deux Magots, is being a little part of History. Personally, I enjoy much more the comfortable luxury of Procope, than the frenzyness of Flore.

Yes... and no 😄 Coca-Cola Europacific Partners has five factories across France, with 2500 employees. The Coca-Cola you drink in France is technically a local product. As a matter of fact, its is the most drunk soda in the country.

Yes, I know, it's a tough job 😂 The French word "émail" is not an e-mail! It means enamel, and Replica is the maker of these enamel tables.

@@paristoptips Oh dear, I am ashamed! I do speak French but we are all soooo conditioned towards English that enamel did not occur automatically. Shame on me, and a lot of melamine, I guess 😂

I recently had lunch at Deux Magot and I found their salmon club sandwich seriously overpriced as it didn't even taste exceptional.

@@paristoptips Deux Magot today is more of an upscale tourist destination which surprised me because when it was featured in the 1973 film, La Maman et la Putain, it didn't even look upscale but working class.
