The CaixaForum Valencia: how lighting enhances Art

The CaixaForum València is a unique facility for the Turia capital.
This is the most unique CaixaForum in the network of cultural centers of the ”la Caixa” Foundation in Spain. The work, designed by architect Enric Ruiz-Geli, has nearly 10,000 square meters dedicated to the dissemination of knowledge, two exhibition halls, an auditorium with a capacity for around 300 people, a bookstore, a restaurant and a family and educational space.
"Art is a very special condition in which artificial light needs to operate. Our partnership with iGuzzini, for all these years - 25 years working together in these very avant-guarde projects - are able to allow us to produce this new relationship" says Enric Ruiz-Geli on the partnership with iGuzzini.
"Light is culture, so we had to work with an italian company because the understanding of the mediterranean condition is extremely important.
iGuzzini is also, in terms of knowledge, expertise and sensibility, aligned to the idea of Innovation."
