So that’s the thing! In California you got two options currently in the market. Woke Democrats, and MAGA republicans. We don’t have central people unfortunately! And the few central democrats that we do have, have taken money from untrustworthy sources like Super PACs, insurance companies, Black Rock and Pharmaceutical Companies! It sucks, but here in California we have money and a lot financial assistance from the local and federal government. So if it’s between woke democrats and racist republicans people tend to vote for the Democratic Party. It sucks hopefully wokeness dies down because in 2024 we swung very Republican another term of Biden and Harris would’ve turned the state red in 2028.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is a registered Republican but his views are nothing like the 21st century GOP. He's socially progressive (highly respectful of non-white and LGBTQ people) but economically he's more conservative than Democrats.

Nope, he ran and was elected as a republican, but he was more of a moderate in that he formed a mixed party state administration, with both democrats and Republicans. He was very good about reaching across the aisle even then. It also helped that in the recall election he was first running in, although California wasn't as deep blue as it would be, the incumbent democratic governor, Gary Davis, was extremely unpopular
