Anna I have really enjoyed your road trip vlogs. California is my home state and absolutely love it. Thank you for showing parts of California other than the beaches and LA. I’m glad you got to see and enjoy a lot of what California offers. My favorite part was the Sequoia/King’s/Yosemite National Parks. A few years ago I got to take my daughter to see the majestic Redwood trees. My one place in my bucket list is the Somona area. OMG! That B&B you guys stayed at looked so romantic and magical. Can’t wait to take my hubby there, maybe for an Anniversary vacation. I would definitely need to make a stop to see the railroad museum. It looked awesome!

I love how much varied stuff you do, how well planned out they are, and all of the amazing food and drink! Happy anniversary Anna and Mark! I live in San Francisco area and work in the city. I have been eagerly awaiting this video so I can see you experience my part of the world through your eyes. Loved seeing your time in NorCal and more specifically riding bikes by the GG bridge and driving PCH (Pacific Coast Highway). The hand holding was also cute and made me laugh. PS- when Mark said “San Fran” at the end it was a dead giveaway that he’s a tourist. A local would only call it San Francisco, SF or The City. 😉 Cheers and hope you will return again soon!

My husband and I did a similar trip traveling up the Pacific coast highway and then to Arizona many years ago, but recently were back in San Francisco for my nephew's wedding. We went to Alcatraz again and went to see the Sequoia's and drove all around the city to see all the different neighborhood's. It's an expensive part of the country to live and traffic in the city rivals NYC. Hope you drove down Lombard street and saw the Full house homes from the T.V. show. Looks like your having the best time. Happy Anniversary.

Drove back & forth over the Golden Gate every day. I lived nestled in the redwoods in Mill Valley & worked on Maiden Lane just off of Union Square. Ventana Inn is wonderful. Haven't been there since the early 80s. Glad you guys stayed there. 💕😉 I grew up in SoCal so NoCal was always there!! Happy you enjoyed it!!

But omg Ventana is such a treat - my brothers wedding was there and the most my husband and I could afford was glamping - I cant say I recommended it for getting wedding ready but the grounds are GORGEOUS and the restaurant food is delicious.

I live in SF and the glamping looked like such a fun thing to do with my boyfriend. Then I looked it up and WOWZA! That is super pricey. Glad you were able to do something special for your anniversary :) Also, yeah the service at Tartine Manufactory is notoriously awful, but their pastries and proximity to Heath Ceramics makes up for it!

Being a Big Little lies fan and having read the book first - which is set in Australia and me being Australian was really disappointed that it was set in Monterey and having been to the M place then realise the bridge is in a really different location when you get there. Series was good and am looking forward to season 2 but the characters in the series are much wealthier than those in the book. So much better if it had been set on the Australian coastline -but acting was good and Michael Kiwanuka ( theme song ) is an amazing English talent.
