Epic! But one author is not present. Ian Gordon. He has a place in the company oc those who promoted the Mythos.

You know, I think it's very apt that many people use these stories to fall to sleep, on top of enjoyment. There's no doubt all of these stories influence the subject matter of many peoples dreams, which is very fitting with the Cthulu Mythos setting lol

The House of the Worm, this is a rare and very creepy story. I have listened to it a few times and it remains one of the best horror stories I ever came across. Very good, and certainly belongs to the Cthulhu Mythos. Well chosen, and all the best from Holland. Keep them coming Ian and Jennifer. 👍🏻

Yeah, it's a great story, nearly in the same league as my favourite of Lovecraft, The Colour Out Of Space. This wonderful sense of a malignant force that just expands, maybe akin to a sickness without intent, but with some hints of a sinister purpose in there too. It's a little spoiled by the ending, but for as much as it ends up explaining too much, it's still very effective and doesn't feel like a deus ex machina out of nowhere as in some other of these stories. Feels like a story that would fit very well for a movie adaption.

Settler's Wall a fascinating idea I adapted my way to represent a place from Yian-Ho in our world.

This latest batch of tales is kind of a mixed bag for me. I love the stories, but I use them to fall asleep, so it's going to take me weeks to actually listen to them all since horrorbabble lays my head to rest in less than 20 minutes on average. On the plus side, I seem to be able to hear the narration when I'm dreaming and it takes the wheel on what happens in my subconscious. I'm still on part one, but about four or six hours into it one of the stories had me dreaming of people being pulled underground by tentacles. It will be fun to find out exactly which story did that when I finally catch up to it in the piecemeal intervals I'm actually conscious and listening before the narrator and authors work their sandman magic on me.
