Man I been thinking about the chess pieces Em got the bishop if I'm seeing correctly - Bishops are one of the most powerful pieces in the game, but both bishops have distinct squares, either white or black, that they go on, bit like the two distinct styles of new em and old em. Both are great pieces in their own right and both are distinct, despite being the same piece. I didn't see a piece for snoop but I'd guess he's the Rook. Another really good piece, but also one of the most consistent and, I don't wanna say predictable? But like in a good way. When you turn on a snoop song nine times out of ten you know what you're getting, and it's usually good Mary J was the Queen - does this even need explaining? And Kendrick was represented by the King - some of you might think that's weird considering the all time greats he's here with, and the fact that he's newer, but in chess the king isn't the most powerful piece, but it's the most important. The other pieces spend the whole game keeping it safe, propping it up, defending it. Kendrick is representing the next wave of hip hop greats, who must be protected at all costs, cause that wave he represents is so vital to the genre, and they're standing on the shoulders of the giants that came before. Then finally, Dre doesn't have a piece, he's the player. Think about how many people Dre put in the game. Think about all the people that never see the limelight without Dre making smart moves and putting them in the position to excel. Dre is the Hip Hop Grandmaster.

I honestly came back to this video for the exact reason. Not saying you're wrong because your analysis makes alot of sense but it looks like the only piece he's moving is the King. It might be symbolic of a King gathering his Knights or people of power. All of the pieces were power pieces, on a board that was getting setup with each move he made. I always thought he was the player, until you brought up the Eminem being Bishop because I though Em was the King piece.

Eminem dropped the biggest clue to what he was up to in 2023. It says "Eminem" while playing Rap God. Then it showed Slim Shady. When it showed Slim, the words on the screen said "He's back". Then as Eminem was trying to concentrate on the lyrics to Rap God, Slim was trying to confuse Em by sending old rap lyrics to him, to mess him up. Bring the old "Em" back. Creative indeed.
