I also was pursuing professional golf and can relate to Pastor Michael's story. The Lord called me to be a Pastor in 2018 and I had to lay down the golf a few years ago. I was saying I wanted to be a pro golfer and bring glory to God, but there was a lot of selfish ambition in my heart. Thankyou Lord for calling me to serve You and others. I've never really had too much to lay down. I can only relate as far as being called away from a typical Florida lifestyle and toward an everlasting one. In 2005. I've been battling porn and addiction to weed and alcohol since 2005-2008. Shortly after I began my sanctification process I began to live alternatively and this podcast is another layer of conviction from the Holy Spirit to remember the words He spoke to the lame man and the adultress "Sin no more" I think I've underestimated the call over my life because I've coveted the call over preachers/teachers lives.
