I personally love Jamie. I think it is interesting how on the fosters Callie chose law over art, similar to how she chose Jamie (law) over Gael(art) in Good Trouble. Gael and Jamie represent both sides to her however I think that Jamie can provide Callie with the support and maturity that she needs. Jamie does not love the lavish lifestyle anyways.

It’s the end of season two. all signs point to the end of Jamie and Callie and the second beginning of Callie and Gael. I believe they are endgame because throughout the time Callie was with Jamie, Gael never became interested in anyone else. And throughout the season, they’re relationship was very open ended, with no concrete resolutions to their feelings. Remembering back to the fosters, Callie tried to pursue an art career before she ever tried to become a lawyer, and when it didn’t work, it was disappointing. And her choosing Jamie or Gael was her choosing to be lawyer instead of an artist this time around to avoid getting hurt and to feel stable, just like her career. But art is where she truly feels what she needs to, and to express herself and grow as a person, compared to how she pictured her life with Jamie, where she was a house wife. And she can be with the person where she has the most emotional range and freedom.

Hailee Lepak Well, I don‘t fully disagree, and yes Callie wanted first to get into art school - but she realised herself that it was not the right path to take for herself, because of her passion to help others. She was even accepted for an art school of another university, but gave everything to get accepted to the Law School of the UCSD. I would say your first or intuitive choice is not always the wisest. Yes, like for art, she has a lot of passion with Gael, there is huge chemistry between these two, I completley agree. But I would say, Gael is like Art, she burns for it yes, but it doesn‘t completley fulfill her. Especially considering her past, I would say Gael is not mature und stable enough to be the man by her side. I mean we saw that Gael has many issues with himself, and I mean he is having Sex with every second person on the show. He definetley loves Callie, and how I mentioned, I love the passion and chemistry between these two, but I thinl they are to messed up to build a healthy and working relationship. Jamie on the other hand knows exactly what he wants, who he is, he was already head over heels into Callie when he first met her at the wedding of Brandon. And this love grew into trust and even deeper love. He supports Callie as much as he can but at the same time, he has the guts to tell her when she is taking the wrong path or acting childish (what she is doing a lot in the second season). I shipped her with Gael for a long time, but in the end, I realised how amazing she and Jamie are together and complete eachother in a wonderful way. So, I really hope they are endgame.

I’m going to say because I have to: Y’all are only saying Jamie and Callie is end game because he’s the more comfortable option. Jamie is not innocent. He wants her to compromise on her ethics, beliefs and morals just so he can advance in his career. That’s not what they meant when they said you have to compromise. Not Callie and Jamie if she keeps being idealistic. With Gael Callie has a hot relationship but it seems that it can burn out at any moment and now more than ever since Gael had a child from a casual relationsip and is willing to take care of him.
