In this episode I went to celebrate and pray to our ancestors at the Cambodian temple in Voorhees, NJ. This event is called Pchum Ben in which we pray and believe that our loved ones visit us. While at the temple I just got motivated to film and capture this stir fry lady and show my audience one of my favorite things to eat at a khmer event...Lort Cha, Papaya salad and Beef sticks.

The egg looked over easy when you received it. I think the steam from the food continued it cook it after it was closed inside the container.

That's exactly what happen. You gotta eat eggs as soon as it comes off bcuz it's literally still cooking even off the heat

@@shorty1103 Since it's still cooking off the grill, she should have removed it 2 minutes earlier.

@@robinayers1979 not really. Not everyone likes a runny egg. Food like that knowing there's an egg involved is meant to be eaten right away. If you know you're not gonna eat it right away then you either get it without or tell them specifically you like it runny.

6:50 that strong Sriracha is the real deal, it’s spicy. Cambodian/Laos papaya salad are hands down 🙌🏽 some of the best salads I’ve had! That funk, crunch, spice, sweetness, and sourness from the lime is 🔥🤌🏼

@@AMG19610 Hey have you tried this sriracha before? Depending on where you live, you might be able to buy it at a southeast asian grocer but if that is limited you can find it online at Coco Island Mart or Amazon. The bottle is straight from Thailand and called SHARK BRAND SRIRACHA chili sauce and it comes in medium or strong. Previously working at a Burmese kitchen, we would always use this and was pleasantly surprised at the smell and taste of vinegar. The consistency and flavor is entirely different from the Huy Fong rooster brand but hella good.

@@konalily no i have not, but I love hot sauces and love different ones. I’ll have to figure out how to get this one cheap, as Amazon is $17 right now.
