The Cambridge KJV Topaz Is Here At Last!

Today, I’m going to be unboxing the new KJV Topaz from Cambridge! These arrived a few days ago and despite having COVID again I'm going to give you guys a first sneak peek of 2 of the binding styles. Sadly I probably won't be able to curate the comments on this one due to illness, but hopefully by the time I record my review I will feel a bit better. God bless and stay safe guys and girls.

I don't know... That heavy duty old fashion Turquoise print type face is just unstoppable.... Just my humble opinion, I have both bibles, yes the Topaz has that clean and modern print, but I have found that the boldness of the Turquoise wins out for long duration reading. PS. Cambridge PLEASE!! send out your wide margin, I need a new one... cheers.

Hello Mark! Hope you have recovered by now. I just received my KJV Topaz in green goatskin. Beautiful! I noticed they don't have the Cambridge Crest on the spine. Just curious. Love your videos. Keep them coming.

I have heard that the lack of a royal seal is due to an oversight, I have heard that the next printings will have the Royal Crest embossed. I am going to wait for the next printing.

Mark could you tell me where the footnotes in the Topaz come from in the KJV edition? From the spelling it seems is if they may by the original. God bless.

Is the Calfsplit the same leather as the cowhide leather ( just another name ) for instance with the Catholic edition esv?

It does seem rather strange, doesn’t it? I wonder if it is a mistake. Odd having a Cambridge KJV without it.

An oversight which will be corrected in future printings. The crest is still held, and can be found inside on the publishing page. 👍
