The Camel and Sons Story l

Hello, kids! Today, we have an exciting story that teaches us about the power of intelligence and creativity: "17 Camels and 3 Sons."
Once upon a time, in a quiet village near a vast desert, an old man lived with his three sons. The old man had 17 camels, which he rented out for shipping in the desert. One day, the old man passed away, leaving behind a will that divided his wealth and camels in an unusual way. According to the will, the eldest son was to receive half of the 17 camels, the middle son was to get one third, and the youngest son was to receive one ninth. But there was a problem-17 camels couldn't be evenly divided as the numbers weren’t multiples of 2, 3, or 9!
The three sons were puzzled and tried for days to figure out how to follow the will, but they just couldn’t solve the problem. In the end, they decided to ask a wise man from their village for help.
The wise man listened to their problem and quickly came up with a clever solution. He added one of his own camels to the 17, making the total number of camels 18. Now, the camels could be divided as per the will!
The eldest son received half of the 18 camels-18 / 2 = 9 camels. The second son got one third of the 18 camels-18 / 3 = 6 camels. The youngest son got one ninth of the 18 camels-18 / 9 = 2 camels.
Altogether, the three sons received 9 + 6 + 2 = 17 camels, just as the will stated. And the extra camel? The wise man took it back, since it wasn’t part of the inheritance.
The lesson? Every problem has a solution-sometimes it just takes a little creativity and intelligence to find it! The wise man solved the issue by thinking outside the box, showing us that with a clever mind, we can overcome even the toughest challenges.
