Hi Arodiboyi, yes one can travel Douala - Yaounde by road. That’s how the majority of the population goes between these two cities. The air tickets are too expensive for one to go regularly by air. It’s a 5 hour road trip and road trips are how I’ve travelled within the country all my life.

Hi Allen, thanks for checking this video out. Douala is the economic capital and Yaounde is our administrative capital. So the president and the seat of the government is in Yaounde. Douala's population is at least 3 million people. The actual number is even higher now that the Anglophone crisis has uprooted many people from their homes in the North West and South West regions and most of people have fled to cities like Douala and Yaounde.

That plantain looked GOOD. I'm salivating. I think we have the same bitter leaf stew in Gh. It's called Kontomire and it's cooked with ground melon seeds and palm oil. I had the same in Gabon... theirs didn't have palm oil but equally as yummy. So good to know we have similar cuisine all over.

Wow! Very true!!! I have this mukbang video with my mom where we talk about Cameroonian cuisine and she mentioned the same thing. Most African nations have similar dishes but prepared slightly differently and also named differently. Amazing!

@@mutomboinprogress Just watched your mukbang video and yeah we're one people. 1. Your Kanda (cow skin) is called Wele in my country 2.Garri is the same Gari 3. Waterfufu is Banku although we also have Fufu which is made of pounded cocoyam, so our Fufu is most likely your Achu. 4. Your Koki is called Apprapransa but, as usual, cooked with palm oil. I don't know what we would do without palm oil in this country 😁 It is a food of the Adangme people who migrated from Benin/Nigeria to Ghana.
