Nick, your wee tummy could be playing up because of the time of year it is and your mum’s anniversary coming up. Our bodies remember stressful times and that can come out in physical symptoms. I didn’t realise you lost your dad as well. What a horrendous time you’ve had. You deserve all the joy in the world. 💚

I lost my uncle last yr, funeral was this time last yr, & we just had the funeral for his wife, my auntie exactly a yr between them same funeral dates 3rd February, they both had good inning at the age 95 & 96 , so sad, as you think they be around forever, so i know how nick is feeling, maybe gone but not forgotten 😪🙏🙏

I do love the cushions and think you’ll find it will all tie together with the curtains when you get them in the van. Nick your stomach could be playing up due to a change in the water, your excitement for your holiday or the stress of the cushions, but more likely all of it combined. I too suffer with IBS and if I’m going away I’m terrible right up to getting on the plane then it just settles, it’s just so odd how it works. We retired to Tenerife because of the UK weather. We lived in North Yorkshire and the cold and wet just got to us. Been here 2 years and it so lovely and warm now. Gets a bit hot in August but nothing I can’t cope with. Get to the Canaries in January it’s just perfect in January. I’m living my dream, every day In my flip flops 😍😊

I don’t get why everyone’s complaining about the cold…I’m in Florida, been here for 21/2 weeks, and apart from two days its been hot. Mind you, I’m from the north of Scotland so anything’s hot for me 😆

We are going to Lanzarote at Easter for 11 nights and I priced up a month there and it wasn't that much dearer, the flights will be the same price whatever length you go obviously a slight variation. I was in 3 layers this morning, its not fun

Nick have you ever been tested for Crohn’s disease? I have it and I get flare ups quite often. Doesn’t matter what I eat but some foods affect me worse.

Would it be an idea to use some of the left over material and buy an in wash dye in burgundy and that way you will have darker material to make cushions in the same material

I don’t know if this will work for Nick but it worked for me. I bought a probiotic pill cuz my stomach was hurting and it started getting better when I started using them. When I ran out after 2 weeks I noticed my stomach started getting worse so I got more pills and it started getting better. I took other stuff too but those pills were noticeable when I ran out.

Hard Butter sachet hack Nick, will literally change your life!! 😂 Prick a fork (all 4 prungs) into the front of the sachet and squeeze it gently from the other side, thin spaghetti butter comes out and it's dead easy to spread 😁😁 Try it, it's ace!
