The 'Candy Kittens' Controversy

In this video, I explore the new controversy surrounding 'Candy Kittens,' founded by Jamie Laing and Ed Williams. The pair have recently collaborated with the creators of popular Netflix show 'Sex Education,' and have tweaked their sweets into condoms, and promote and celebrate sex on the back of the packaging.

I spoke to loads of customers in Tesco’s and they were horrified so was the manager Only pervert will try to sexualise children

Also did the same in tesco. Told manager it’s a child safeguarding issue and removed them myself then passed them straight to him. In his defence he was also shocked to see them on the shelf. He was more than happy to remove from shelf. Tesco. Norwich.

"Sweets and sex. They go hand in hand, obviously" Obvious to whom ? I've never made such a connection, and I can't think of anyone I know who has. Now I am aware of chocolate and it's connection to indulgence. But not jelly sweets or candy. Maybe a couple like to have fun with sweets to bring some excitement to their relationship, but that's their business none of ours. You are quite right Syd this should be placed at an appropriate location within the store, or even sold in another shop altogether, an adult shop.

I had the same argument at a candy stand on the beach in the UK selling rock genitalia. In fact I think most seaside places think nothing of selling novelties like this near children's sweets. I think anybody who does this is warped. Because judging by the comments littered all over the internet, us decent folk don't want it.
