It doesn’t matter who wins this series, because whoever does, gets to lose to either Colorado or Dallas in the Western Conference Final. Both of those teams are _leagues_ above the Canucks and Oilers. Tue Canucks and Oilers are merely fight my for who can waste more time not being successful in the postseason. A waste of up to 28 days vs a waste of up to 42 days.

And Kuzmenko had more goals and points than Lindholm did after the trade. The Canucks didn’t win the trade, the Flames did. Lindy is washed up. He hit his peak and he’ll never be that good again. He’s the kind of guy that needs to play alongside a Johnny Gaudreau and a Matthew Tkachuk, who both need to be having career years, in order to be an elite player. Take away any of those factors, let alone all of them, and Vancouver grossly overpaid for him, which makes me exceedingly happy as a Flames fan. Lindy’s name is bigger than who he actually is, and his name is only big because he got lucky enough to play with some decently good players. What did he do for the Flames this season before he was traded? As far as I recall, his biggest and most notable accomplishment was going 15 games without a goal or a point or whatever it was. SAD.

Lmao buddy kuzmenko wouldn’t touch the ice in the playoffs, he isn’t a two way player. He doesn’t kill power plays, he doesn’t take defensive zone face offs. When you’re building a team to go deep in the playoffs you need two way centres and that’s what we paid for. Scoring goals on the power play for a non playoff team doesn’t mean anything

Wow a whole wall of text cope coming from Calgary here. Lindholm was great on defense in the regular season and he's been great on both ends of the Ice in the playoffs so far. Calgary isn't in the playoffs and the Canucks are trying to win a Stanley Cup. You shouldn't be exceedingly happy to miss the playoffs.

Kuzmenko wouldn’t see the ice in the playoffs guy never has played defense and likely never will genuinely a liability
