Nick The Pride Of Ozone Park Queens N.Y, along with The Capris. No one could replace him. I saw Frank Renna recently when Stan Ziska Lead of The Del-Satins were performing at Eisenhower Park Long Island and called Frank up to the stage to perform with them. Frank const age and they all sang great.

Granted it was a rough performance, he deserves so much credit for still putting on the best performance he could, and that's what should be enjoyed most about this performance. The song will always be great, and even though he was nowhere near 100%, he gave 100% of what he had to give.

T, I can’t agree with you that it was a “rough performance“ I thought it was superb. Many many years ago I had the privilege of meeting Nick a few times at the Jersey shore During and after his performances. Super great guy. A regular guy.Not only approachable, but friendly .Nick, you are still missed

My husband and I were blessed to meet Nick last Spring. He spent months coming to our house helping us...he replaced windows, doors, rebuilt half our bathroom and replaced a wall for us. The man was gifted in many ways, & only with that fantastic voice. He was a sick man, and had to keep busy, and he never complained although we could see he was getting sicker. He'd have breakfast with us, and sit and talk, telling about his life. We are only sorry we met him so late in life. He blessed us.

I'm 44, and I can still sing that high, but I have both lungs. What an incredible story. To survive as on the NYPD, and lung cancer, and to still be able to perform is incredible. Still one of my all time favorites! I wish there was a karaoke version.
