That was a really good one. I love how Michael’s quick explanations don’t really have any logic to them, and so the person has to try to explain why Michael’s reasoning doesn’t make sense, but they’re at a loss for words because they are not quite sure that they understand the problem. That’s always the really funny part. Michael does the same thing in the fortune darts trick; explaining that the reason the winning person’s name is magically on the dart is because Michael didn’t win the game. It only adds to their confusion because while being perplexed at what they have just witnessed, they also have to contend with someone who is not understanding the anomaly. Michael is an improvising genius in that way, aside from being a very talented and fluid magician.

For anyone who wants to know the Japanese: 折り紙 (origami) - the word comes from the the verb 折る (oru) which means "to fold", and 紙 (kami) which means "paper". Very simple, nothing to do with fingers haha! The paper inside the box says 説明書 (setsumeisho) which literally means "written explanation" The writing on the side of the box says 新しい (atarashii) which means "new". The writing on the front of the box says 楽しい (tanoshii) which means "fun".

The definition of the word "origami" (肛門) in original Japanese pronounced [ˌɔɹɪ̈ˈɡɑmi] "oru" - one, "kame"(sounds like kah - may) - finger. Literally "one-finger".
