James Bond in Chicago???
Come with me as I explore the iconic cars, gadgets and props of the James Bond film series. I'll give you a personal look at the newest Bond exhibit, 007 Science: Inventing the World of James Bond. It is the first-ever official exhibition to focus on the science and technology behind the world’s longest-running movie franchise.
In this video I go behind the scenes to learn how the Bond production teams harness real-world science to craft 007’s on-screen adventures. See fantastical gadgets created for the Bond films alongside the real-life inventions they prefigured-see a prototype jetpack from “Thunderball” and hear the amazing stories behind it's preservation.
You’ll also enter a lab space inspired by “Q” and drool over the screen used props, gadgets, and wardrobe. It's like the Bond Archive opened its doors to just YOU!
007 Science: Inventing the World of James Bond is open through October 27, 2024, but I would book a ticket to Chicago NOW and experience this jaw-dropping exhibit for yourself.

I just experienced this exhibit on Saturday. I was blown away at how amazing this was! My father (who’s no longer with us) got me into 007 and at times I was even overcome with emotion because I I wish he could have experienced it. This is a must for anyone not just Bond fans!

Yes Christopher Nolan would be a great director for the next Bond film. Looks like fun, wish I could go! Have you ever been to the James Bond exhibit they have at the Orlando Auto Museum? They have a huge collection of the cars and other memorabilia on permanent display

A great video! Enjoyed you with Jet pack, and of course Next to “Wet Nellie” too. A cool additional question to ask on the jet pack… I have always mentioned that I’m a Star Trek fan too. But as a child of the 60s I loved lost in space. Lost in space used the Jet pack too in its first season. My question on the jet pack featured, was the same one used in Thunderball also the one used in Lost In Space. I would think it’s possible. David it’s an assignment, ask them! I wouid think very few of these were made at the time.
