"BONZO" Excellent choice of a song to cover. The great David Robinson 🥁🎶.

My favorite band since 1978. I am that old. I've seen The Cars at least 8x. I appreciate you giving Mr. Robinson props. He is truly under appreciated.

My favorite Cars song. Great drum work.

Great tune - truly a great band. Like in real life - the older the Cars, the better. A couple quick tidbits - David Robinson had to re-learn how to play drums for their 2010 album, first in 24 years. I always really appreciated his drumming. In the 90s, I saw Elliot Easton playing in a band called Credence Clearwater Revisited - he was amazing in that gig.

Great. And it works here in Scotland. Love the verses. So interesting. I feel it's let down by the country style pre-chorus and weak chorus. Love the guitar solo section.

Kinda off subject but what do you think of Keith Moon and Clem Burke (Blondie) drumming styles?

I'm a huge Keith Moon fan, and Clem Burke is a damn fine drummer! I love the fills he throws in on the tail end of HEART OF GLASS.

Great job Terri, I predict you had a total of $22.00 in your wallet snare muffler on this day?!?I still think the best song to play along with from the Cars is "Dangerous Type" one of the first songs I played live with at a backyard party here in L.A. back in the early 80's as a fill in drummer.

Drums and bass are in 5/4 time while keys and guitars are in 4/4 time during the verses.

Actually correct! but the second measure of the song has 5/4 time in the intro for everyone. This was the first sheet music I ever bought centuries ago when I got a synth and wanted to be just like Greg Hawkes!! 😂

Touch and Go was the very first song I heard from The Cars back in 1980. My reaction was , wow, that’s a cool song, who are they? I first heard it at my uncle’s place being played on his reel to reel player with the next song being crazy little thing called love by queen and lots of other hits. That same night when we got home my old man tells me he had the album Panorama with touch and go on it......I played the shit out of it. Love that song to this day.
