Yes he does know his historical ancestral houses. He’s very knowledgeable and practical in his hopes to preserve these historical houses..I hope local government could help indeed. The idea to conserve is thorough converting them into bed and breakfast, restaurant.. etc. sounds great and noble , practical…it will sure preserve it like here in the US.. I live in the capital of Nevada and we have lots of ancestral homes from the mining period,,, most were turned into offices, and part of historical sites for visitors. So we are able enjoy to enjoy it. 👌

@@oliviaedralin1436 in America they value heritage landmark and historical places in the Philippines I could say it''s different historical places like street it's former name were change historical building designed by national artist were being demolished heritage house that survived the war were demolished for the sake of progress? I believe that the very foundation of a civilize nation is heritage without it we are nothing

Hi Fern, this video as well as the rest of your ancestral coverages are truly significant especially to our young generation. You are a real history professor in my book. You do your research and you present your lectures online using your videos as your blackboard. Brilliant Fern. There are numerous history professors teaching in colleges and universities but their teachings are mostly based on academic books and references some may even be outdated. You present the significance of the past in real life. Your message is very important and should be heard by the youth. The past should be preserved as it is the portal to our past history. Those were times we never saw and experienced. Only these few remaining ancestral structures can give us a glimpse on how our ancestors lived. Once these structures are gone, important historical information will forever be deleted and our youth will never understand where they came from. I fondly call you Professor Fern as you are doing the mission of a true history teacher. The world needs more people like you. Feel free to give me a shout if ever you find yourself in North America. Keep the vids coming. I shall continue to recommend your channel to our young ones here in Canada.
