Would you say the case is even stronger now? Except now Al Thani wants you to sign 25 year LNG supply contracts. Germany, you guys can build safe nuclear power plants too! And you are asleep at the wheel with battery projects. Good that uncle Elon paid you a visit. But you don’t have electricity to power them.

There are about 10 battery production plants currently under construction or in planning in Germany and most new cars from car manufacturers have already greater ranges than Tesla, which are now also behind on autonomous driving. Tesla has lost it's ten year head start within about 5 years, probably because Musk was busy writing hate comments on Twitter.

Musk may have built his battery plant in the wrong place, there are concerns about how much groundwater his plant will suck up, and it's being challenged in court.
