Warning: video contains strong language and violence.
Hooray, the Case series is back! Can't believe it's been over two years since my last tribute to a favourite director. I hope this will show improvement of my editing skills over the years (or their degradation XD).
So i'm a long time admirer of David Lynch's work as a director. Lost Highway is one of my top 5 favourite movies of all time, Elephant Man is the most tragic and beautiful film i've ever seen and Twin Peaks is just all around awesome. I could go on and on about how perfect Blue Velvet is, how beautifully fucked up i find Inland Empire or how many nightmares i had after watching Eraserhead for the first time. But what i exactly want to say about Lynch, is that how important i think his work is. And how important i think is what he's trying to tell us. The man dedicated his life teaching audience how to not only watch movies and think about them, but also how to FEEL the movies. Your feelings and imagination is what important, when you watch a movie, and they are the key elements for the cathartic experience that watching a good movie is. A lot of great directors did the same service to their audience, and Lynch is absolutely one of the most accomplished artists of that goal. It's an honor to pay a tribute for such an amazing job done over fourty years. Thank you so much, mr. Lynch.

+MH0830 Thank you so much, i do put a lot of effort in each of theese tributes. Big fan of Carpenter, just re-watched The Vampires, so maybe one day...I like a lot of Kubrick, but don't really see myself making a video for him. Now Rodriguez is interesting, i actually was planning to do his video some time ago, but got distracted by the amounts of bullshit he made (like the Sharkboy movie or Sin City 2), but he also made some of my all time favourites like From Dusk Till Dawn and Sin City, so if i ever figure out how to comprehend the variety of movies he made, i will cerntainly make this video. As for now, i'm not planning to do another director tribute, so i don't really know who's next, but i still work on a lot of videos right now, thanks for wandering anyway!

Don't know that I'm a Lynch guy (his style didn't sound appealing to me, so I haven't watched his films) although I *did* just start watching Twin Peaks.

Silent Hill games got me originally into David Lynch. I think the first one of his that I watched was Twin Peaks(?) or Lost Highway... I dont remember but yeah it was very strange at first. But now I just love his style. I cant even decide which is his best film, theyre all master pieces. By far my favorite director. He does everything with passion and from heart.
