Күн бұрын

Ezra McCandless lived in the town of Eau Claire, with her boyfriend Jason Mengel. However when Ezra McCandless met Alex Woodworth, things went sour. This would eventually lead to Ezra McCandless showing up at Don Sipple's farm covered in mud, claiming Alex Woodworth had tried to get her. But what did Ezra McCandless really do?

Theirs alot of men in trouble for not doing anything wrong but being horny and finding a chick to have sex with than they call the police when they regret it. A football player lost his whole career cause of the days leading up to the draft he had sex with some chick and she accused him of rape and than he did time and than it came out that she wanted it and just wanted the money he was about to get in the nfl but it backfired cause he didn’t sign any contract yet and it ruined his chances to get any contract and his life is changed forever and never made the nfl and he was gonna be one of the top draft picks in the whole draft

I don't believe she was in love with Jason or Alex, but they were both in love with her. She had a great guy (Jason) but cheated on him with Alex and John and couldn't accept that she'd lost Jason because of it. Great job covering this Mike. Cheers and best wishes from Canada.

Because obviously Jason was starting to figure out that Ezra was a bit more crazy than he once believed. I'm so sorry for both men, but especially Alex who lost his life over some psychotic woman. Yes, this show is marvellous. I used to painfully watch my way through all of those ones where they take an hour to tell a 20 minute story. They reenact the whole thing with terrible B grade actors, and repeating the scenes over and over again - the whole show is like a trip to the dentist. Mike is a marvellous breath of fresh air. We get the whole story in about 20 minutes, along with a bit of his dry wit to brighten things up - these are very watchable.

I get the whole "the real problem with false accusations is that they delegitimize the accusations of real victims" thing. It sounds really nice and it feels good to say it - like it makes you feel like a good person when the words come out of your mouth. But I'd say the much, much, much bigger problem with false accusations is that they endanger and victimize innocent people. It's almost like, even in a situation in which a man is victimized, we still have to think of the women somewhere who've been victimized even more by that man's victimization. When a man seems to have been victimized we have to go on a search for the women who are *really* the victims here. I almost expect to hear "the real problem with prostate cancer is that it robs women of their husbands and sons". Military graveyards should have a big sign out front saying "the real victims here are the women they left at home. Come light a candle in memory of their heroic sacrifice". Jesus.

Joshua Brooks I agree that this is a problem and have had to point that out to a few close friends myself. I also don’t think you can quantify any victimisation, social dysfunction etc as a ‘much much bigger problem’ than any other. They exist as their own seperate phenomenon. The bias and disbelief that victims experience is often more traumatising and isolating that the abuse itself. It is the most significant barrier to seeking both family/peer/therapeutic support and formal justice. Falsely accusing a person of being violent, abusive or a rapist is also terrible and has significant long term effects on a person’s psychology and life, even when the lie is revealed quickly. I don’t think people make this statement (cringe as it is) because they don’t comprehend the seriousness of a false accusation. I think it’s more likely that they are far more familiar with the shame wrapped up in abuse - everyone knows at least a few people who have been through it. Empathising with the falsely accused is less automatic, because false accusations aren’t unbelievably prevalent within all demographics in the same way as violent/sexual abuse.

I've watched so many of the same cases covered by other channels, but your versions are so raw and refreshing. If you deleted everything before "I really believe that Ezra-" your comment would make way more sense. Additionally, randomly talking crap about not just the father of your child but your child himself to random strangers on the internet for seemingly no reason is disgusting and reflects poorly upon you more than it does them. If your child really is like that it's the result of your failure to parent him properly. This post doesn't make them look bad, it makes you look bad. I found this discouraging. While listening to stories like this, how many times have you asked, 'Why didn't they -call the cops, -check it out?'? Jason acted on his instincts & followed her to check on things. Someone called the cops about suspicious behaviour & the cops seemed to have thoroughly investigated the situation. In this case, people did all the right things to help prevent something bad happening, yet just a few hours later, Alex was dead.

What's pissing me off more is the contradictory nature of her claims. So, he tried to murder her, but it's a "great loss". That's like someone trying to rape you, you kill him in self-defense, yet it's a "great loss that a rapist was killed in the process of doing the crime". This just goes to show that she's making it up and fully knows he's innocent of what she's claiming him to have attempted to do to her. Also, you don't mutilate a penis in self-defense. The many stabbings I can somehow understand to occur in the process of panic and confusion, but the act afterwards to mutilate his penis.... Yeah, she's just reaching too far in her theatrical performance in the trial. She killed an innocent man, that's why "it's a great loss", because if she truly killed a murderer, or more precisely a guy attempting to murder her, then that's not such a "great loss".

@@gambrinus330116 innocent? Bwahaahaa! The o.j. trial was one of the small amount of cases where justice was not served. Not to the victims and not to the murderer o.j. simpson. He was guilty. Thats why no one looked for the "real" murderer after the trial and why o.j. was found guilty in civil court. And Karma kind of caught up with oj though huh? Hehe. @bmcgmusic aww thanks for the advice, best of intentions I'm sure. But proselytizing with the aim of saving anyone from reading will likely upset this thread's natives. I personally don't desire this sort of salvation, especially from reading books that might challenge or conflict with my beliefs. But I do appreciate the attention to detail in curation of your comment. It's been a minute since I've indulged in such bespoke troll bait. I wish Don all the happiness in the world. He didn’t deserve to encounter this person. And he doesn’t realize that she used him as part of her act to appear like a victim and continues to abuse his kindness by sending him letters to try to manipulate the court and public into believing she’s a harmless artistic soul. It enrages me to no end and I wish Don could see through that.

Best judge and jury ever. If she was truly sorry, she would not ask for her jail time to be cut. The fact she had the nerve to even suggest she didnt know what the parents were going through and apologize is disgusting. You killed someone and took them out of this world. You must do the time for the life you took. No second chances. No Starbucks in prison either.
