Love how he refers to his serial abuse of children as “stupid mistakes.” Petty theft is a “stupid mistake.” Sleeping with children is grotesque and depraved. It’s clear his real regret is winding up in prison, not the actual crime.

Well if these people aren't supposed to exist at all then how come some people are born with such a mental incapacity that they are attracted to underage kids or turn out to be serial killers or something. I don't believe he's like the spawn of Satan I just believe he's a guy who let the wrong instincts get a hold of him and he needs help. If these people are so depraved and shouldn't even exist then then why would they even be born? That's like imagine if we live in a world where they can look into a child's future and say they are going to murder someone one day. Do we just start murdering children because they are capable of that or do we try to get them help?

I’ve worked with SO in prison as a counselor (why I quit in the end). A lot of clinical therapy for SO is very sanitized language to not be direct about the abuse they cause. It’s watered down to “your behavior”. So I’m not surprised he referred to it in a watered down way.

Because he didn't say it against an officer, so it would be without consequences, lying happens more when there are no consequences. And if they would talk with him and he would say it was a joke or a lie then they wouldn't have enough proof to even get a search warrant, since there is no victim they can actually point to and no proof of the crime... I don't know what they could have done, I think they could have done more, like starting an investigation to get the proof they needed to arrest him (like the FBI did), but I fully understand why he can't get arrested outright on just this statement. It sucks, but that is just the way it works. There are people that lie about doing crime frequently, even against the police and it sends cops on a wild goose-hunt, which takes resources away from crimes that are actually happening and require investigation.
@iamhereblossom1588
@iamhereblossom1588 7 ай бұрын
A confession is rarely enough to prosecute a suspect successfully. They can always say they felt pressured to confess or take their statement back. It’s preferable to have a solid case that the jury HAS to convict on to avoid them voting not guilty and the suspect being set free due to lack of evidence. Which requires a good amount of solid evidence.

As a former prosecutor, I just wanted to confirm - you can get a warrant based on recordings. And, even if the FBI was concerned with the credibility of Rochelle’s evidence, it’s definitely enough to start an investigation. Hell, all the FBI needed do was conduct a recorded phone call of their own - and, if he told Rochelle that he had child pornography on his computer and/or phone, they could have easily gotten a search warrant for the devices. This case reminds me of the Epstein case. According to the current charges, Epstein trafficked minors to … no one. It’s been years, and they even caught Ghislaine Maxwell (who procured the girls), but they haven’t charged a single perpetrator who visited the island. It’s disgusting.

i think it's still an active investigation, but i don't have much faith since powerful people are often above the law. my best hope is that they're taking so long because they're handling it extremely delicately since it's such a massive case that they can't take any possible chance of getting it thrown out. though optimism usually isn't the realistic path when it comes to powerful people facing consequences for their atrocities.

And obviously they screen that stuff before it gets to them. I think that they need to be told ahead of time that a family member, and immediate family member like a spouse or a child or a parent will be sending a letter, and this is the type of envelope in the piece of paper it's written on pictures being sent in everything so that someone can't put their name on it and just send him random mail. Some politicians here, in Canada, were arrested for pedophilia for visiting and partaking of, "luxuries," given to them by a wealthy host named Jeffery Epstein. But it was not just Canadian politicians. Politicians from United States of America, México, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Newfoundland, and a few other nations were frequenting Jeffery Epstein's island playground served by child slaves, and, "private," servants. It was so bad that very high end politicians from many nations were going to visit his forbidden island of desires. I believe the Americans captured him and had him detained. But he indulged so many high end clients that it is likely he was murdered so he would not be able to reveal the perverts that visited him. He was found dead of a suspected suicide. There are many that doubt that. But nobody wants to really investigate into it too much. After all, the high end political clients could come after the ones doing the investigating. Jeffery Epstein took his dark secrets to the grave, whether it was by his choice or the choice of his clients. Some of his clients were presidents, prime ministers, governors, parliamentary officers, celebrities from many nations, wealthy-elite trustfund kids that probably make carbon fiber submarines and make private space orbiters. He had a very, very, elite list of clients that many did not want revealed.

You would probably be surprised to find out that the FBI hesitates to investigate because once you pull on a thread, the whole sweater falls apart. Law Enforcement has a HUGE number of pedophiles. My child was raped by a Border Patrol agent. He got away with it because the Sheriff AND the local police dept conveniently “Forgot” to give him his Miranda Rights before he confessed. Cops, judges, prosecutors, senators and Presidents. None of them want you pulling on the threads. Because the right way to catch pedophiles is running sting operations that produce evidence that will convince a jury in a court of law. Infiltrating a porn ring that is distributing actual pornography, for example. A guy bragging that he went to Thailand and had tons of sex isn't very strong evidence. Some people just get off on making up shit that never happened. You can not get a conviction by going into a chatroom and baiting guys into talking about weird depraved fantasies they have. Even on To Catch a Predator, they had to have the suspects actually show up to the house to stand a chance of a conviction. You wouldn't want those laws changed to make it so that anything you say online is potential grounds for a search warrant.

@@ommitedommited154 great point. That is the high calling of a jurist- to separate any personal emotional influence during trial. Yes most everyone disdains those who hurt kids that is good fundamental human instinct at work. But if a judge sees red automatically during any trial involving alleged pedos (innocent until proven guilty at trial), then it's no different than a judge eager to sentence every drug suspect to 50 years because they had a negative personal experience with drugs in their life. You can't pick and choose. A judge's sense is not the same as a civilian's, by definition. The ones who act like we feel are dangerous failures behind the bench.

what really strikes me about this case is the unwillingness of police to actually do anything. Remember, one of Jeffrey Dahmer's victims escaped naked into the streets, found cops and the cops returned the victim to Dahmer, who claimed it was a "lover's spat". The victim of course was murdered shortly thereafter. Or more recently, you have Uvalde's police refusing to take on a shooter murdering school children because they didn't want to get shot. If the police aren't willing to actually protect children, exactly what purpose are they serving in our communities? I do understand that there needs to be probable cause and all that, but they seem to find very flimsy 'probably cause" in traffic stops where they want to harass someone over weed.

The sad part about the law is that it can't do much without physical evidence. Lots of crimes continue to happen even though people report them bc the police need physical evidence. At the end he said, "ok kiddos, on the way out, you have to give me either a hug or high five! No exceptions!" My blood ran cold and I immediately felt uncomfortable. I was being sexually abused by family members at the time, so the idea of having physical contact with a man i did not know was horrifying to me. I tried to tell my teacher this, but she did not listen. I got to him and said "I don't really like to be touched." He said, "oh please! Im not scary, I won't hurt you!" And pulled me in for a tight hug before I could say anything else. I was literally shaking. I was visibly disturbed, he just laughed and said I would be fine. First of all, there have been hate crime charges against people who physically assault other inmates due to their child-related crimes. Second, they will be required to pay "rent" to whatever group is most numerous in their housing unit, with either their family putting money on other peoples' books or themselves doing other peoples' laundry, cleaning their cell, even doing their homework from class. Third, they are usually required to act as fall guys, with cell phones or knives being hidden in their cell so others can avoid the punishment.

If I remember right, my dad helped him out, since the manager was a tad on the short side and couldn’t get the ads down in one peice.

I honestly don't know why. Maybe because of the crazy people using true crime as a way to harass people? The whole "this video shows this mother is actually abusing their children" genre? Cause stuff like this is not only popular, it's always *been* popular. It's a staple of TV.

If I had to guess it's because KZbin and garbage media outlets are in cahoots. Awesome channels like Dreading (stellar content and free) compete with shows on television that have millions of dollars put into them. Imagine what would happen to television networks if everybody tuned into JCS, Dreading, etc! I think KZbin tries to make it hard for people like Dreading to earn a living off their videos to help their garbage friends out in the media.

I also speak with victims and the families of victims and review their impact statements. I've also had multiple friends be murdered. I think the people who do their makeup and make light of the crimes have a tendency to be disrespectful to the survivors and victims without even noticing. In my opinion, it's vile to profit off of making jokes about real murders, usually involving child victims. But most people think I'm being too sensitive, even though many family members and survivors have expressed the same thing.

OFF TOPIC: this reminded me of something.... my daughter recently got her 1st job on her own at Subway. When she was 3yrs old she used to walk up to random people put one hand on her hip, tilt her head to the side, push her other out, then in a sing songy way say, "Can i have $5?" with the $5 being the focus. Before a person could respond she would sing the little jingle, "$5 foot long" then she'd run back to whatever she was doing prior. Also, during that time frame whenever she heard people talking about their jobs she would volunteer that she was going to get a job at Subway so she could get $5 and get a $5 footlong (of course, she sung the jingle at that part). She doesn't remember all those details. She said she applied bc every time she passed Subway she just felt like she should try there. Anyway...

I had a friend in high school and early 20s who would routinely fall asleep while we were hanging out and in a lighthearted way was known to be a powerful “snorer”. Not so bad. Until you realize that it’s every place you go out to in public, my friend is either struggling to stay awake or sleeping in a corner. Rochelle is a strong and brave woman. Most people wouldn't do what she did to get these disgusting monsters locked up. I'm sure she had an some idea about the backlash and accusations she'd get for doing what she did. Without her bravery and determination who knows how many more children would've been abused. It's sad to me that there are people out there who can't see the good she did despite all the obstacles and push back from law enforcement. I am also incredibly disturbed by the fact the police wouldn't take Jared's admissions of the crimes he committed against children. Them saying that Jared needs to do something is incomprehensible to me. If someone admits to a murder they don't demand to see the murderer in action...I just don't get it. He was 32 at the time and knew it was illegal and didn't care. I took text messages, emails, photos of them kissing, everything I could find to protect this girl and literally got told there was nothing they would do. I even sat down with her case worker at cps and reported it! They said that the only thing they could do was lock up the 15 year old in juvie until she was an adult if he continued to have contact with her. It made me so sick. As far as I know, he wasn't able to actually go through with her plans. I did get her moved to a different foster family and they did monitor her online activity. A little over a year after I left, my ex died. So he is not a danger to anyone anymore. But damn did I get so freaking mad at the system.

I’m am physically sick and disgusted by some of these stories and for anyone to simply “brush” these allegations off is highly suspicious.

My thoughts as well! He was one of their own so of course they shot down every claim! Only differences between him x Taylor was money x fame! Took an Indiana precinct to go after Taylor for animal rape before they would even look into Jared! That's crazy

I would also wager he was paying them. The lifestyles of the rich and famous are secret and disguting. They will pay nearly any price to make it stay that way, it only takes 1 person to finally say "no, this can't go on, we are going to take this mofo down". But even then, I bet he is paying somebody, he is set for life whether it be in prison or not.

@@dojjin1334 There's a vice video on here where a former manager of a super expensive hotel, who's identity is obscured, tells about how these billionaires will rent out the entire motel for a weekend turning it into an all-out no-holds-barred sex party. The details that he shares of the cleanup are outright repulsive. It goes to show how detached these people are from reality and basic human decency
