As crazy as it sounds, if a cat is territorial or aggressive, it can indeed break through a screen and attack a person(especially since it was trying to get in and attack the Plaintiff's cat). If a cat attacks you, it can be brutal. It's all needles and knives, knives that don't let go, and feel like fire burning through your skin. I can see how this will go. The Defendant claims her cat never went to the vet because it's an indoor cat, but it was clearly out on that day. You don't forget a cat once it's attacked you and JJ is smart enough to tell who's being truthful.

My husband's cat got spooked by something outside the window and when my husband tried to lift him down from the window because he was breaking the blinds the cat went absolutely feral and latched in to his arm, biting, kicking, clawing. He shredded my husband's wrist with deep cuts from his back claws, thank God he was wearing a sweater or it would have been way worse. The cat has never done anything like that in the 5 years we had him prior or in the 2 years since, but we're very careful about handling him when he's spooked now

My rents had a cat who had a disorder where he'd blank out and attack for no reason. One day my mom just woke up in bed and the cat lunged onto her hand. He bit deep and wasn't letting go. It took another cat to attack him to snap him out of it. By the next day my mom had an infection bad enough she was told she could die if she left the hospital AMA. She had a central line for antibiotics and was treated for 3 days. Needless to say the cat was removed from our house.

Unbeknownst to me, my mom did that to one of her cats, and then felt guilty with regret and told me. I was so angry. She said she didn’t know what the procedure entailed until after it was done. Of course I didn’t believe her, but I took the cat, and she lived out her days with me until passing in 2015. She was 17 yrs old. RIP Blossom🐈‍⬛

He’s only 21 so if she had a problem with what he said, it should have been a gentle correction at most. JJ doesn’t strike me as someone who lives under a roof. She probably knows that In some American cultures, children are required to address adults as Mr. or Miss + first names or last name instead of just first names as an indication of respect. He sounds like he is just coming out of childhood norms and that is probably his way of respectfully addressing an older woman. Also within this culture, even if you are an adult if you are much younger you address a senior citizen who you have a casual relationship with as Mr or Miss plus first name.. I know some judges in real life and I would never call them Judge + First Name like this show does. I either call them Judge + Last name or if I know them well enough to be friends I just call them by their first name only. IRL no one I know calls anyone Judge + First Name this so it was probably confusing to the poor young guy.

i have had cats my whole life, grown up with them. I love cats so much. But the worst animal attack i’ve ever experienced personally was a cat that i was fostering. it latched on to my foot and bit me and scratched me. i had to go to the trauma center because it was so swollen and painful. although uncommon it does happen.

Yep - I was house sitting and was attacked by a very territorial cat. He latched onto my leg and gave me two puncture wounds from his claws. It was terrifying. The area turned red and really hot. I probably should have gone to the doc but took a chance. Luckily it didn't get worse but the scars are still there six months later.

This ain't no joke! I was volunteer animal rescue for over 10 years. I also had a side business in a desert community rescuing rattlesnakes form home and businesses. Never had any problems with dogs, handled Pitbull's all breeds big and small. Even Rattlesnakes as well hardly ever strike out. CATS however will rip you to shreds.

It's hard to believe, but this same thing happened to my son and his girlfriend when their own cat suddenly went crazy and started attacking my son. It latched onto his leg causing deep scratches and bites and after he managed to get it off, it ran onto the balcony where they managed to contain it by locking the door. It went crazy trying to get back inside. The vet came to their home and said it was a rare psychotic break. He had to euthanize it there and then.

For those of you who don't know when you declaw a cat they cut the top of bone joint off the toes, so basically imaging losing the tip of your finger that is connected to your nail, because that's what they cut off and then you're left with 2/3 fingers.

my daughter was attacked by her cat after her husband tossed him into the house after he was fighting with a stray in the yard. Apparently there is such a thing as residual fighting where a cat is still in attack mode and needs time to calm down. she still has the scars from him climbing her leg and biting her arms and shoulders before her husband got him off of her. he was also bitten before he got the cat into a carrier to calm down.
